We have a small 6 cup machine which is the perfect amount for a cup for me and a cup for the wife.

Oh crap sorry, that's only one cup each. Not nearly enough to satisfy you coffee mainliners.

    Do what i do :

Buy coffee at starbucks! it's already in a cup (or mug), so no spilling for you sir! (or madam)

I can only guess what the fluid is they pump in the cup before it goes underneath the machine, pure coca´ne or something...but it tastes really good!

Wish i could get a cup now....that's the only downside, you can't make it yourself...as far as i know

I have the keurig single cup brewer and I love it. Just fill your mug with water, open the top, pour water in, insert k-cup and press brew. 1 cup of coffee in under 2 minutes. They have a k-cup called Jet Fuel that would probably spin a coke addict, so no more making mud for the extra caffeine. Best coffee maker ever.

French press + hand bur grinder ftw. In your situation, it sounds like you may be pouring the coffee too quickly.
