    Default how would my computer run the game?

    Ram: 8 GB
    Processor: 2.60 Ghz
    Graphics Card: ATI 5750

    Fine easily, most likely high setting or medium on some parts with a decent resolution

    Depends on your resolution, but with an AMD 5750, as above, I'd expect you should target medium with reduced AA and reduced shadows.

    How would my rig run... ( Plan on getting a 460 GTX )

    Processor: AMD Athlon Dual Core 6000+ 3.0 Ghz
    Ram: 4GB
    Video: 9600 GT

    I'd expect after the change (be sure to check your power supply can handle it) you should have little difficulty with medium settings. It depends on your resolution. Note though that an AMD X2 6000+ is a pretty old generation chip and you are going to have bottlenecks all over that system core (slower chip, slower ram, slower board speeds, etc.)

    Yeah i plan on slowly upgrading everything starting with video card, then processor and so on. Thanks for the help

    Well, the core can't be done slowly. You have to do the CPU/MB/Ram all in one shot.

    Go to this site: http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/ and select RIFT from the pull down menu.
    You can see how well you'll be able to run it.
