Default To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse

How well have you prepared? Plans? Destinations?

    Myself:

I've got my Zombie Survival Kit under my bed, a .22 rifle (as this is most likely to be the most common ammo, and it is lightweight), Special Forces Machete (compass/matches stashed inside the handle), and pocket knife.

    What's in my Kit? (Backpack)

    Duct Tape
    Small Sewing Kit
    Binoculars
    A Second Compass
    North American Map
    One Change of Clothes
    Metal Cup (boil water in)
    Magnesium Block
    A Second Pocket Knife
    Bungee Chord
Very VERY small book on edible/medicinal plants of North America
    12 pack of AA batteries
    Windup Battery Charger
    2 LED Flashlights
    2 Walkie Talkies
Protein Bars are stashed in the pantry and ready to be grabbed.

I'm heading as far North as I can that will allow me to survive. (Alaska)

    Cool

All I need is a cricket bat or a shovel. And also, its important to remember:
In extreme circumstances, the assailants can be stopped by removing the head or destroying the brain. I will repeat that: by removing the head or destroying the brain.
I'm refering to Shaun of the Dead for those of you who dont know :P

    I <3 that flick

Lol, that certainly would make my life more interesting! Anyway, I got two swords at home, so I gues might end up having to use one of them, or both.. Got a sewing kit in the other room, so im cool with that. Gona grab my fishing rod, and all other little things for fishing, as it will definitely be helpful. And lets hope that animals or bugs can not get infected by this sh!t, otherwise we all are royally screwed! As for plants, I know few of the ones that are edible, [they are mostly wild, so will be common]. And about where to go, hmm I was hoping to get onto some island, Less population = higher chanses of survival... Probably will go somewhere East|South of england. There are less storms in those areas, and it is warmer in the south... Gona be a pain in the back to live out in the open for few months, gona need to build a house, or get a boat...

Oh, and to be clear, I would not survive past a day or two....a week tops. I guess part of it would depend on if they were fast moving zombies or slow zombies. I will last longer if zombies move slowly I have no weapons but my husband used to be a boyscout when he was a kid...maybe he could help keep me stay alive w/his survival skills... hehe

btw, I thought I would share this...It happen in January of 2009: Hackers Crack Into Texas Road Sign, Warn of Zombies Ahead

To survive the zombocalypse I'd simply become a zombie... a very fast zombie.
-According to a Facebook quiz, I'm a genius.

I have one of these for when I run out of ammo. It is sitting right next to my bed and I sleep well. http://budk.com/Knives/Gil-Hibben-IV-Combat-Machete

Through my military and EMT-P training, I have developed a complete and comprehensive bug out and bug in plan for worst case scenarios. (Yes I'm one of those crazy bastages that stores three months worth of rice, beans, water and dehydrated goodies for a family of four.)

You take those zombie movies too seriously.

I mean come on, you know it can't really happen. Get real.

Everyone knows it's alien abductions and eventual invasion that we really have to worry about.

    (those probes are cold !!!)
