    Default Recommend a film

I have seen a vast amount of films and some of the best one i have seen have been recommended to me by one person or another. What film would you recommend people to watch? Can range from action or drama and old to new.

My recommendation would be a film called "Ikigami". (its a Japanese film and if you do watch it prepare to cry)

" A national prosperity law has been passed in dystopian Japan resulting in citizens between the ages of 18-24 being randomly selected to die for the good of the nation. These citizens are given 24 hour notification of their impending death. These notifications are known as "ikigami"."

    Brotherhood [taegukgi]

Set during the Korean war, if you liked Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers, you'll love this. It has subtitles, but don't let that put you off. Its a fantastic film.

The Solomon Kane movie that came out earlier this year is decent. If you live in NA you'll have to order it from overseas (I couldn't find a NA distributor that carried it).

    The Karate Kid

If you have seen the first one, don't think of it as a remake.

See the movie with "new eyes". It is WONDERFUL - seriously.

The only thing keeping me from going to see it again is that I refuse to go to the movies alone. I am tempted to give in and just go.

    Don't miss out!

Ooh I've never been good with films but the only movies that come to mind right now is Dodgeball and Benchwarmers.
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
