Moon was good. Pandorum was a pretty cool futuristic zombie movie. If you can handle subtitles, french film Eden Log (horror/zombie type) was also very good and also The Prophet.

As been said - Bladerunner, and I love Edward Scissorhands, one of my one of my favorite. The Notebook is good too (imdb say's it's drama/romance).

You guys skipped a great movie, yet - if you are not 7 or 8 years out of high school it may be a hard watch (unable to grasp)

I really love japanese movies... and well my favorite filmmaker, and one of my favorite actors as well, is Takeshi Kitano.

Although, not many movies intrigued me as much as No's "Irreversible", the beautiful character played by Monica Bellucci and her terrible fate in the uncut scene.

AKA Shaielene as Shaie has been ninjad

A lot of really great movies listed, but one that I have not seen listed is:

    Ms. Doubtfire

It's one of my all-time favorite comedies. Robin Williams & the rest of the cast did an amazing job.

Since most of the movies I'd mention are well known I'll just mention a few lesser known ones:

Dog Soldiers - this movie was low budget but the best werewolf movie I have seen. Has a Predator feel to it.
Pandorum - For anyone that likes Alien/Aliens check this out. Not that it comes close to those movies but it's pretty good.
Pitch Black - This sci-fi is hit or miss for people but I like the atmosphere and Vin Diesel is a decent badass in this movie.
The Orphanage - If you can stand subtitles (or can understand Spanish) this is a great creepy movie with a slow build.

" A national prosperity law has been passed in dystopian Japan resulting in citizens between the ages of 18-24 being randomly selected to die for the good of the nation. These citizens are given 24 hour notification of their impending death. These notifications are known as "ikigami"."

    Twice Upon a Time

It's very old, but has a fairly unique animation style, with awesome characters and a silly story!
