When I was 4 or 5 I used to watch a few anime series that got showed on cable over here. My favourite was one called Robotech, it had the best transforming jets and motorcycles ever.
About 20 years later, after I'd been watching anime (or mangas as we called them in our ignorance), I discovered Robotech was the western version of a manga series called SDF Macross (plus a couple of other random robot series).
I forgot about this one. Macross I think was the continuation of robotech,and sdf 1 the spaceship?
Appleseed was great. Dominion tank police was funny... I might have to dig up some svcd,s soon.
Well Blood-C still sucks. Very very slow and really brings to question if they going to just abruptly end the series in favor for the movie next year. I hope not but if this is not a 26+ episode anime then it is going to suck. I can not find any where to confirm number of ep.

If it is really 12 then this could possibly the worse Anime I have seen the past few years.

Blood C is starting to actually develop a story, but at the cost of characters I actually like. But if it's only 12 ep's then they better have a second season if they plan to explain what the hell is going on.
You should watch Naoki Urasawa's Monster. Brilliant series. Here's episode 1.

Yeh the story developing is just to slow. They do not need to kill everyone off. I mean last what 4-5 episode we left with "zomg honer the convent" "uh wtf is that?".

I think it's setting up to a huge plot twist, but whether or not it's worth the wait or build up is iffy.
On another note, Nichijou is probably the greatest thing put before my eyes in the last couple months.
