I'm gonna take a sledgehammer and break my neighbour's house wall. I'm sure he will be grateful for exposing his cheap material house.

If a DDOS attack crashed a game server they need better servers...

Proud to say I have had zero interest to ever learn about hacking. However now I feel I should since network and web based security appears to be lacking across the board.

There is so much fail in this post I don't know where to begin...Oh...

DDOS attacks won't crash a game server.

With EVE in particular, they pulled their servers/website offline as a precaution after detecting the DDoS. Not sure about the other ones.

League of Legends suffered some massive lagspikes last night. That was also pretty much it. If it was the DDoS or not, I can't say. If it was, it failed.
"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea."
