Default Anyone else giving Hellgate a second go?

    I know I am.

    CBT starts in 6 minutes...
Oh mortal man, is there anything you cannot be made to believe?

I had thought they shut down all their servers?

I thought it was a good game shame it didn't work out though =/

I need a key! Been meaning to give it a whirl, but I've yet to procure one.

I did a bunch of things and a bunch of stuff; now I'm just a casual player.

There are keys available everywhere. Take a look at the Hellgate main site forums for locations.

BTW, they had a really rocky start to closed beta. I think they had NO IDEA how many people would be playing. There are queues -- not long, but enough to indicate that there is interest in the game.

I's F2P now so there is no risk to trying it out.

Closed beta ends Sunday evening so you better hurry or wait for open beta. ;-)

I planned on participating in the closed beta but I have to study for an exam on Monday now. Ah well maybe another closed beta or I'll participate in the open beta.

Either way I'm glad the game is back, it was unique enough to be fun.

Well, the game was a blast. The closed beta had a rocky start, but once they got all the issues ironed out, it was stable and in much better shape than how Flagship left it. I don't know if there will be another closed beta before open beta, but you should get signed up and take it for a spin.

I just hope they don't go too far with the F2P model.

Of course I am. Hellgate is still probably my favorite game of all time. I even played for months on the Korean servers but got bored because they broke the English strings (even though I learned most of the important Hangul symbols it's still not same as real reading) and there were so few English speaking players to party with.
