Cake vs. Pie vs. Cookies vs. Brownies vs. Cheesecake

I was once on a vegetarian diet, I quit though. Turns out Vegetarians are harder to catch and kill than cows and the meat is too stringy.

Chocolate-chip cookie dough cheesecake with a brownie crust.

One of my co-workers brought this in to share with the office a couple weeks back. It was ridiculously good.

    no way!

Cupcakes are too much hassle! You have to remove the paper!

Real cake on the other hand doesn't even require hands... full on face to tabletop action.

With my patented nose breathing straws, you don't even have to come up for air! :P

Love cupcakes. Definitely my favorite dessert and partially for this reason.

I like fruit pies as well cherry is my favorite with apple coming in second. For me it's all about the crust - if the crust is bad, I can't eat the pie.

On that note. The new Banquet pies (they're small like pot-pies) are incredible.

My love for brownies outweighs my anger for people who end their thread with "discuss"

Duh, what else am I going to do?

There's an apple, cream, breadcrumb and chocolate dessert that rejoices in the name of "Danish Peasant Girl With a Veil". Let me tell you, it takes some beating.

None of these are correct. The ultimate delectable desserts follow:

Pomegranate brownies - Put 1c sugar into 3c pure pomegranate juice, boil 'till reduced to a thick syrup. Make your favorite rich, dark chocolate brownies (cocoa powder is a must), and drizzle on afterwords.

    Cinnamon Sugar Pull-apart bread - http://www.joythebaker.com/blog/2011...l-apart-bread/
So sexy. Not mentioned on there is the glaze: Mix a few tablespoons of milk with enough powdered sugar to make it creamy and looking like... well... *****.

    http://img32.imageshack.us/i/dscn1758p.jpg/

Smores bars - Graham cracker crust in a casserole/brownie dish (ground graham crackers with melted butter), bake at 350 'till solid, put chocolate chips on top then mini marshmallows on top of that, put under broiler for 4-5 minutes until marshmallows are just right. Reheat in microwave a few seconds before eating if you don't eat it all fresh.

Epic Peanut Butter Cup - Get a 4 inch diameter ramekin, about a pound of chocolate chips/chunks, a full jar of Adams peanut butter (or another peanut butter whose only ingredient is peanuts and maybe salt), some milk, and some sugar. Line ramekin with tin foil (or something else, I just found tin foil worked easiest). Melt 1/3 lb chocolate with a healthy spoonful of peanut butter. Pour into ramekin, put in fridge, let cool until fairly solid. Meanwhile, heat about 1/2 the jar of peanut butter with 1/3 cup or so of milk, and a few tablespoons of sugar, mix. When chocolate is fairly solid, form peanut butter into a large ball and smush into the middle of the ramekin, leaving space on the sides. Melt 2/3 lb of chocolate, with another, even healthier dollop of peanut butter, pour over top of peanut butter, place in freezer to cool. Remove, cut, and give to girlfriend to win way more brownie points than anything else you could do.

Lemon, orange, and pomegranate chocolates - Melt good quality dark chocolate chips/chunks over a double boiler, add some cocoa nibs and either lemon or orange zest, or a splash of very concentrated pomegranate syrup, put in chocolate molds to cool

But... the most delectable dessert I have ever eaten...

DEEP FRIED NUTELLA AND BANANA RAVIOLI

Step 1 - Cut up a banana, put 1/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, stir, let sit for 20ish minute so juices mingle.

Step 2 - Take out Nutella, start eating with a spoon.

Step 3 - Reserve at least half the Nutella, daub a healthy spoonful on a wonton wrapper, daub some of banana mixture on top, brush egg wash (1 egg white with 1/2c water or so) on the edges, put another wonton wrapper on top and press to seal.

Step 4 - Deep fry. Remove, drain, eat warm.
