    UO
EQ1 (for about a month then back to UO)
-trial'd many many MMOs during this section while still playing UO-
    AC2
SWG (by far my most favourite MMO to date.. during open beta/early release)
    Eve online
    WoW
    AoC-WAR-Aion

...I'm sure I am missing a few but I doubt they are worth remembering.

My first was WOW. had not heard of MMO's before then. I remember my mates were sat around and amazed by it, then two months later they were very irritated by it.

Asheron's Call - a 10 mostly for being the first, nostalgia

DAoC - a 10 up until ToA. I only played on Mordred and it was the best open world PvP that I've experienced. Running dungeons and PvP'ing at the same time.. crazy fun. Great lore with the three realms. Umm.. three realms? Would be nice if someone else tried that.

WOW - played from beta till about six months in. Generally enjoyed it but the cartoony graphics always bothered me. Felt like a kid's game. Anyway I'd rate it a 6 from my personal perspective.

Guild Wars - 7. Neat story, great PvP but instance everything makes it not feel like an MMO. Probably unfair but just not my thing.

Vanguard - 10. Best world of any game. Best game that no one ever played unfortunately. Played for a couple of years on the PvP server.. made me realize that low populations kill these games. As a result, I'm actually happy to see a queue to get on a server now!

Age of Conan - 6. some fun parts, nice graphics but different instances of zones is fail to me. Like GW in that respect.

WAR - 8. I really liked it except for the cartoony, WOW-ish graphics. Had to stop playing about 8 months in due to work, when I was ready to go back it was dead.. not sure what happened. Was fun while it lasted though.

Rift - 8. I'm enjoying it as a casual player now. I really like the look and feel of the game. Levelling is much too fast for my taste and I wish there was more world PvP but overall I see myself playing for a while. I'm probably most impressed by how polished it is so shortly after launch.

Man, brings back some memories listing them all like that. Where's that Asheron's Call CD...?

    Diku Muds - hated LPMuds.
    M59
EQ - UO - The Realm which really sucked but got mixed together with UO to become WoW
    AC - DAoC
    EQ2
    AC2
Anarchy Online - I was actually a guide for that one.
    Eve-Online
    Project Entropia
    [edit: ShadowBane]
WoW Beta extensively which really sucked
    LOTRO and more EVE.
    WoW
Then Back to EVE and LOTRO until this went beta

Probably the most difficult aspect of living in a free society is letting other people enjoy their freedom, their way.

    1. Everquest Online Adventures - Played from February 11, 2003 (NA Release Date) to sometime in late 2004 perhaps.
    2. Final Fantasy XI - Been playing from March 2004, PS2-NA Release Day. Still playing, even if on-&-off.
    3. Aion - Been playing since August 2009; now playing only on private servers.

I won't put Rift up there just yet, after having only played for two weeks now, I'm unsure about staying (nothing about it is impressive, though nothing bad about it either). Otherwise, there's not an MMORPG out there that I've not tried.

I started with WOW in beta 3...To think I used to make fun of people that paid sub fees for games, but I've given Blizzard about $1200 for subs, xpacs and transfers. I've played a couple of the failed MMO's like AoC and WAR but they never lasted after the free month.

I'll probably finish off month 3 for Rift then enjoy summer with my kids while I wait for GW2 and BF3. I'm trying to get away from the pay to play type games.
