    Default English

    Here are some facts.

"Que" is not an English word; you mean to say "queue."
    "Your" is not "you're"
    "There" is not "their"
    "There" is not "they're"

    Now, bring on the flaming.

Each of those examples are supposed to be individual sentences, right? You neglected to use a full stop (period if you're American) after each one.

Being somewhat of a grammar **** myself, I do understand the frustration when people use the wrong word or spelling. But we DID already have two other threads about this recently, both of which were quite lengthy.

Also, many people here do not use English as their first language, so I tend to be lenient.

All of this aside, the mistake that really annoys me the most is an apostrophe where it doesn't belong. Just because the word is plural or ends in s does not mean it needs an apostrophe in it.

    Haha....edit: It won't let me say n a z i ...

Technically, "queue" is not an English word. It is French for "tail."

That doesn't make it not an English word.

I'm definitely one who makes these mistakes at times. If I type too fast and I don't proofread, some of these sneak in. If I catch them after the 5 minute timer expires, I'm forced to watch the public shaming of my bad grammar, and rightly so

These two already beat you to it.

If grammar usage hasn't improved since then, I doubt it will now.

Well, in reality? Nearly everyone, including people who think it doesn't matter, unconsciously uses spelling/grammar as a proxy measure of competence, intelligence, and attention to detail.

Furthermore, part of the problem is that people who write badly often write badly enough that they get misunderstood, then they get angry, but it's really their own fault.

But... Who cares? The person deciding which resumes even get a call back cares.

Then as soon as Trion announces they are going to be hiring people based on their forums posts, I'll make sure I proof read everything.
