    Default Could use computer advice

Hey everyone, i am going to buy a gaming computer from ibuypower.com with a $1000-1200 budget. i have http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Ship_...nom_II_X6_DDR3 in mind, i can currently play low demanding games like plants VS zombies and Dragon age 2, but i am looking ot be able to play shooters on at least normal settings for the next few years. so basicly, i am looking for the best i could get on my budget, how long it could play recent games smoothly without upgrades, the pros and cons, and overall advice for buying a gaming computer.

    All help is appreciated

Well as long as you get some good near top of the line Processor, Id say an Intel core I-7 cpu will last you quite a while...Though mine is one of the slower versions being at 2.8ghz non overclocked, its still insanely fast...never getting over 40% usage when running a game. 6gb's of RAM also is plenty for any game today. The one piece though that will get replaced most often is a video card...Soo id suggest getting the best video card you can get while maintaining your budget. Like my machine for example, only thing that i really need to upgrade is my video card, its a gtx 260 BFG (Saddens me BFG no longer makes cards) though a very good card, its not nearly as powerful and does not support dx11 unlike the gtx 500 series.

Also the poster above me listed a lot of good pieces but Im sure you don't need everything that he listed. (keyboard, mouse, DVD drives) Ect ect, there are things you can take and use from your previous machine im sure.
