Default Keyboard/Mouse as carry on luggage

Does anyone here know if keyboards, mice, and laptop AC adapters are considered acceptable items for carry on luggage? I am flying home for Christmas this weekend and I was curious.

    Thanks.

Yeah I was going to put it in my backpack along with my laptop. I just didn't want people freaking out or anything when they see the contents through the scanner. Lol.

You usually have to take out electronics and put it in a separate bin when throwing it through the scanner. So more than likely, take it out of the backpack, put it in a bin and let them scan. Shouldnt be an issues. Had to do this with my PS3 and my netbook on 2 separate flights.

Ha, I am. I don't like using the integrated keyboard & mouse, especially when gaming.
