    Default Thrash Metal!

thrash is such a great genre. New and old!

From Pantera "Projects in the Jungle" to Municipal Waste "Massive Aggressive" and Cross Examination "Menace II Sobriety"

What do you all love about this genre if you do? If not then: why not?

I like the thrash scene mainly Slayer (Reign, South of Heaven and Seasons), Megadeth and Anthrax. Not a fan of Pantera at all. I stick to the Death metal scene mainly.
As I stand shoulder to shoulder with my battle brother, I am forced to wonder: who can I trust? I am asked to fight men who I once called comrade. I ask myself: what manner of ruin will befall us next?

I think you'd be a fan of Ghoul. I do also love the Death Metal scene as well.

From early Metallica to Slayer to Pantera and on. A truly great musical sub-genre.
Even though i've moved to Melodic Death Metal (Amon Amarth) I still put on my 80s-90s stuff and give the old gods a listen.

Pantera was one of my earliest concerts.... and one of my most memorable. I had always gone to local metal venues, and so I had seen some small mosh pits... but Pantera really put the PIT in mosh pit! My gods it was HUGE! Entire floor was the pit!

Alot of metal scholars don't consider pantera thrash. I don't really either. They are more of an evolution of the early bay area thrash scene. Megadeth is probably my fav. Of thrash bands you haven't heard of, I like Death Angel alot.

You're right, none of those bands you mentioned are pure trash bands.

Because I'm old school, here is few example of 80'ish true trash bands...

    Wait...what?
I live and breathe to show you just how ridiculous/stupid/or ill-thought your inquiry was.
And also to show you this new invention called a search engine.
