Introducing Defiance - An Entertainment Experience from Syfy and Trion

Wow, just saw the G4 interview at E3, and this game looks awesome. With Storm Legion and Defiance on the horizon, I might have to make a time budget for each one.

I LOVE you guys and i LOVE how defiance looks my only issues is that your not a real mainstream company, Use Drum and Bass or some Hard Trance; Be Difrent from the other guys like you always have! Or better yet just keep it in there and make it so it cycles from Dubstep to D&B about 1/2 way through the trailer. Not to mention that was an x-play exclusive i think. But FOR THE FUTURE just my sugjestion.

Personally the music choice might not be theirs. This is a joint Venture between Trion and Syfy. The Music HAS to conform to the series in this particular case.

I agree dubstep should die in a fire, And i see the point that space may be the ones choosing the music BUT in my opinion if this is a next gen game, And trion wants people to think about there games then they should use the music that has been called "Food for the brain" and "The Sound of Thinking" before; Drum and Bass!

Originally with the timeframes involved Syfy announced the series was to go live on their January Season cycle. Storm Legion with no official release date and the assets partially in place in game already suggested that the launch date would be at the earliest the end of august, but more likely the october/november area. This came before some of the announcements we have now.

This area was the projected beta range for Defiance based off the SYFY season announcement. If the April 2013 date holds there wont be much for competing for your time.

Why is it that a lot of the **** kids that come to our little electronic music festival ask for D&B all the time, while chewing their faces off and picking at their scabs?

I'm not fond of the 3rd person over the shoulder method.. blocks the screen of needed info, like bad guys, but also allows for non realistic "peeping" around corners that would normally pose some form of risk were it 1st person. I wouldn't mind seeing my arms, and my "arms" and even panning out to a semi translucent or 3rd person birds eye... starting from a mainly first person perspective would be a much better choice imo. just saying.
