Dear life..sorry i have to again participate in something in the real world..I realize its scary and with so many things to do your plans have now been ruined because I have to do something other than play Rift.

Dear internet sorry i wont be playing rift all day I know you had set aside bandwidth just for me because as we all know its all about me.

Dear other games, sorry I wont be playing rift as much today Im sure all the other MMOs are very sad there will be more players on your game because the last thing you want is more players to leave RIFT

Dear forum please accept this apology to add to the qq line because Im sure you are sick and tired of the whining complaining and other false threats because as we all know its just a game and no real big woop.

It is going to get expensive very very fast because these bosses are not very well tuned. Pretty much anyone who participated was sitting at 0% soul vitality. Just remove the soul cost for this time period.

This will cut down on a MASSIVE amount of qq

Sounds like it's you that's not tuned properly.

Get some skills? or how about you plan your raid group a bit better?

The phase 3 bosses wiped more than us tbh.

I have a serious question.

Why are people complaining about classes when this is a thread about the World Event Phases? Seriously. I wanna know. I want to know why people are complaining on this thread instead of going off to QQ in their class threads. The Devs are doing their thing with the World Event and won't be paying too much attention to classes. Imho, if you think another class is OP, chances are you just suck at your class.


Also, thank you Trion for all your hard work and dedication to making us happy with the Event. I absolutely love it and will continue to play. WoW became too boring and lacked a lot of things that you guys developed into your amazing MMO. Thank you

trion needs to add more time for this event. stage 2 will come and go and everyone that planned to do it will miss out.


simply put spawn the bosses 3 times, over 3 days. lock out people for lewt on them on there first kill off the boss. no reason your player base should all have to funnel there scheduels into a single moment to particpate in unique one time only content. thats throws its awesomeness right out the window.

How about the Stage 2 boss in Shimmersand that was capable of one-shotting people? ;)

Admittedly, not a problem from a soul healing perspective because there was damn all anyone could do about it except die, sigh, shrug and resurrect...and if something one shots you, you don't really need to be at full soul vitality.

People have a right to complain about a product they are paying for. Your sarcasm and illogical assumptions about your fellow forum posters is unwarranted. Furthermore, your last bit about having real problems is probably the most ridiculous part of it. As if other people all don't have their own **** going on. And some of us took a break from that **** to participate in an event we are paying money to attend and do not even have an approximate eta.

If you can't understand that it is not necessarily easy for people to shuffle their real life situations around to accommodate a 2 hour event, I don't know what to say to you. I personally had to take some vacation time off from work to be able to make this.

Nerd rage? Hardly. Disappointed that a corporate entity I am paying money to failed to provide a promised event? And furthermore can't even provide a _rough_ ETA? If it was a pay per view movie, or UFC fight, or concert that was being paid for, you would ***** too. I feel that a certain amount of complaining is 100% okay.

Zoak, have you actually seen the live event?

It completely overwhelms the entire game world in pretty short order except for Meridian and Sanctum. Its not necessarily something you'd want to have happen three times running - it was enough dang hassle the first time round.

As for loot drops, the interesting ones are rare as hen's teeth and most people will only get 10 sourcestone from each boss kill, so loot really wasn't a concern for this event at least. Well, unless you wanted one of the rare drops that is... xD

I'm a mage, and I was one-shotted at max range 7-8 times. Its not a very forgiving boss, that one. ;)
