We’re looking for your story! Whether you’ve been established for years or just started your guild today, we want to know what drives you and where you come from. Guilds are an integral part of the RIFT community and the experiences their members share together often create lasting bonds across games and life. Each guild is unique and your story will always be a lasting part of RIFT. That’s why we want to share it with the world.

To help you continue to grow your legacy and establish yourselves in RIFT, we are inviting all guild leaders to submit their tales. Following the instructions below will enter you into our new Guild Spotlight program. We will select a guild from time to time and publish their story.

Whether or not we publish your guilds story, you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to win a 25 use trial key for an exclusive event! Should you win, you can provide this code to guild members, friends or family so they can come join in the fun of RIFT and get a taste of the action during a free trial preview.

We’ll announce more details about the free preview event in the near future as well as ways that other players can have a chance to get their friends involved in RIFT!

Actually, as I'm playing Rift, I'm finding more and more of my WoW friends have been coming over, but there has been no coordination in finding servers, hence everyone has been making chars on a multitude of different servers. Some are in their 30's, some are 50's chock full of purplie goodness and we'd like to be able to transfer servers to be on happy family again.

If you were to revise this contest to have 25 free server transfers as well as win free 25 Rift trials, you'd find more people apt to apply to thsi contest as well.

Awesome initiative! You guys n girls keep finding ways for us make the bonds between guildmembers stronger. It started with the game itself with more social aspects then your average mmorpg, and now this :) nice!

I am keen to apply. Several WoW guildies have asked what server I/we should be setting up on. It's a guild that has existed across mutiple games since EQ. No one has formed a guild in Rift yet .. if we were allowed to apply and get 25 trials, perhaps one of us would setup a guild presence in Rift.

At the moment, a lot of them are hanging onto WoW, even though it seems to be imploding under the designers fascination with platform gaming inside a MMO. Let non guild leaders apply, those 25 free trials are the tip of a large iceburg.

Our Guild Mission is to promote http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org -A cloud computing solution to find solutions to problems, we have a team on there also by the name of <Epic>, and Guild members join and are rewarded ingame for their participation using idle CPU time to solve world problems. I have lead a Guild of over 2000 before, and ran a website around it, based on a city-like structure, called CityAgenda, in Global Agenda- and this is the natural progression of that, modernized and added to with a viral name (Epic), I am unsure of our current numbers, because the Rift Guild Interface does not provide numbers, and scrolling down through our hundreds of members causes my computer/s (and everyone else that has tried to) to stall.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to receive the 25 free trial invites, a few of my WoW friends/guildies are waiting on/could use a free trial >_<

Our guild name has changed over the years and yet the core members are still the same, sure some have gone off to other guilds but that is because WoW got boring or too demanding and we couldn't all play together. At one time we were Red Leaves Falling, or Burning Blitzkreig or Dawn or Acension but the core of us enjoy playing together and would love to come to RIFT and continue the legacy, of course the Elders would like to join as well, weary though they have become, their souls itch for that epic adventure.

25 free trials would be an awesome way to get the guild together and able to join the same server and continue as the new guild Acension of the Burning Red Dawn. (or Burning Red Dawn) or (Blitzkreigs Red Dawn) heh (we have a few ideas)

Myself, I have been Guild leader of three of those guilds, friends/allies with one of them and at least always an officer. I have been playing MMORG since Ultima Online (which is where I met my husband), to Ever Quest, Asherons Call, Dark Tide, Dark age of Camelot, Eve, and others, tested Beta and Alpha in many of those. I am bored to tears of World of Warcraft. Looking forward to new adventures.

Heh, that was the fully story, I sent that exactly to them, and honestly even writing that much seemed like a bit of a waste of time, I already have hundreds of guild members, and if any other people wanted to play Rift badly enough they would pay for it, 25 "free trial invites" actually seems a bit pointless, and it may as well be an unlimited number, I guess if I get them I will post them to my wall, if people take them great, but honestly another 25 guild members that need to start learning the game from scratch is going to equal squat at the end of the day, I would be better off just inviting people within the game, forming new guildies out of clay, just writing this was so much of a time sink it seems redundant, lols >_<
