    Default Multicore Support

Some one needs to update the engine in this game to make better use of Multicores, as opposed to having to rely on one powerful CPU chip.

Unfortunately, retrofitting an existing game engine for multithread support is a screaming, gibbering nightmare-- and that's in comparison to ordinary multithreaded programming, which is already very complicated.

WoW did it; Trion milked ton's of cash off of AA, put it to good use in Rift.

Until these guys from Korea get their act together and start releasing Gamebryo 5.0 or whatever, 64-bit, multi-core support isn't anything Trion can do to the game engine.

WoW has a much, much larger budget than Rift-- I'd estimate at least an order of magnitude bigger.

Furthermore, WoW's engine was built in-house, as opposed to Rift, which uses a modified version of the Gamebryo engine.

Not sure where I seen it, the engine they have is heavily modified, so pretty much the Gamebryo is not Gamebryo no more pretty much there own engine. So even if a new Gamebryo came out, don't think they can even use it with out breaking things.
