    Default Please do away with mounts in the crafting area in Tempest Bay

    This area is very small so why are they needed there other than just for people to stand on the NPCs and try to hide them. The new flying octopusses take up way too much space in there also.

    Hide other players under UI toggles in the key binding menu works wonders, but I do agree that some people enjoy stacking on the NPCs.

    If you do this, please move the mail box into the room, right next to the auctioneers.

    Settings-> Keybinds

    "Hide player characters" -> bind to a key(combo) of your choice

    Never rage again, but instead chuckle at the futility of their behaviour.

    Haven't tried hide function yet . Is that a permanent hide or just till out of range or log out?

    Would be fantastic if you could hide individual players, not just a global hiding. Or am I missing something and it does that?

    It's more of a toggle while the key is held down type of thing.

    There is still no good reason to allow mounts into small quarters like the crafting room. I never liked allowing mounts inside buildings, and now that we can run faster, why the need? At least dismount players in confined, crowded spaces.

    Hide Single Player's Mount Function
    If anything, just need to request the reuse timer be lowered ;)

    so hide player is only good for 1 player at a time. The sheeping wand works well too. I was thinking of dismounting players once get inside the door and then maybe giving everybody a boost in runspeed once dismounted while in there. Say a 25% boost, that way you'd be losing one thing but gaining another temporarily.

    That's likely more complex (or effort) than an ideal solution would take.
    Just make the area indoors (no mounts) and move the mailbox adjacent to the AH.

    For some reason, thats not a toggle (at least for me). I can push down the button and the players disappear, but when I release the button they show back up. That's not a toggle.

    I really think all npcs should have a barrier around them of at least 2 or 3 meters so that people dont park their huge mounts on them and go afk. Another thing I think they should do is make it so that you have to click on the porticulum field to bring up the menu... that would make it easier and in the case of invasions the portal master doesnt run off stranding you in the area.

    Or if you really have that much of a problem, create a target macro for various vendors and then all you need to do is to /interact with them.

    You have various ways to "combat" not being able to click to interact. I'd avoid the TB area if I had to be dismounted each time I went into the crafting area.
