    Radical Next Gen idea for a THEMEPARK MMO with PvP,
    But here goes...

    For a years now, we had the PvP server type in themepark MMO, which in most cases was just a PvE server with full time flagging system.

    Well how about we get out that box of old traditions?

    Make the PvP server concept, not something of a normal server, but make it into a large scale PvP map with objectives. It's all on the PvE zones, just like Conquest is built on top of Stillmoor.

    Do it's still fully the whole game world, but everything in it is PvP related.

    Three faction design is brought back from Conquest. No 2 factions.

    Anybody from all servers can queue in. Each server is dedicated to one of the 3 factions you queue into.

    The world map is split into many different segments that can be captured and controlled for your faction.
    Similar to Planetside 2 here.
    By controlling that segment of the map, you gain resources from that land mass, as well as points for your faction over time.

    Each faction gets a main Keep and a Capitol. Capitols are the last resort of defense.

    Keeps are guarded both by players and npc with fortified walls, which siege weapons and character attacks can destroy to defeat keep lords.

    All buildings on the world map that your faction capture in battle, can be upgraded to add battlefield perks.

    Also players get special accended powers when in this new mode, that can effect the battlefield.

    This PvP world also has events, but all events are themed after PvP and the three PvP factions.

    There are neutral factions all over the world, which your faction can gain their favor, to spawn their faction units to fight by your side. Similar to GW2 here.

    Also your faction can spawn boss elite units and elite units, similar to Old Av in WoW, to rampage as a meta event on whatever zone it was unleashed on.

    Oh yeah, and another thing, all players can queue into this of any level. Low level players will be scaled up to max level in this mode, but not as effective, since they won't have all their tree and root abilities.

    There are PvPvE objectives all over the map that benefit your faction, from collection, to boss events, Ect.

    It needs to be on one end of either extreme, imo. Because currently, Conquest has utterly destroyed what was left of the already sparse wPVP in Rift. So, either instance all world PVP and make a cross server funzone, or give us back real world PVP and incentivize it similarly to Conquest. Having watered down versions of both isn't really ideal, imo. I see Trion leaning towards the former though, but I think that could work very well in tandem with the upcoming release on faction constraints.

    All in all, that wouldn't be bad.

    Not a bad idea Tro44. I really think Trion needs to introduce world pvp with tangible objectives in the game. You cannot duplicate the feel of world pvp with any type of instance. It needs to be part of the world and I believe can be implemented without impacting PVE.

    Build it and they will come. More importantly, once it is built the players provide the content. It would be cheap and add something NO OTHER GAME on the market has duplicated successfully.
