Default Armor Sets - A Much Needed Addition!

I absolutely love the idea of wardrobe sets and would like to recommend adding armor sets. How many warriors or rogues out there get sick and tired of filling up their precious bag space with the following:
    1. PvE DPS spec gear
    2. PvE Tank spec gear
    3. PvP gear
    4. any other sets

If we could have a separate area under the character sheet similar to wardrobe where we could place the various armor sets. That way it clears up our bag space and allows quick switching between gear when you switch roles.

I count 14 armor pieces (helm, shoulders, chest, gloves, belt, legs, feet, main hand, off hand, ranged, neck, trinket, ring 1, ring 2) and if you multiple that by the 2 gear sets that you don't have equipped, that is a whopping 28 item slots occupied. That is over a whole bag's worth of gear alone!

I would like to see Trion add a ARMOR SETS function similar to wardrobe sets. Yes, we could even spend plat to purchase the additional sets

Isn't there a bank NPC you can summon when you reach X amount of veteran time?

You can already "Store" sets in the wardrobe. The wardrobe could do with an expanding to include weapons and move away the darned restriction on only being items of your own "type" that you can put in there.
I'd much rather see that, than yet another inventory space somewhere.
I went off to FFXIV. Here's my blog.

Love the idea. We are very limited on space given our multiple sets. I 100% agree with the OP and really hope Trion considers this.

    Default clerics too

if clerics have 3 specs they use consistently - tank, heals, range or melee dps - they may need to carry 3 full sets of gear (I know I do) - takes up a large amount of bag space.

Something like the wardrobe to store them would be great - although I think they may have to manage the issue of using some items in two or more specs.

It can be like the wardrobe sets. If that slot is blank it will just use your default item. Let's say you use the same Neck in all of your roles, simply leave the Neck slot in your additional sets empty and it will use the one equipped in your original Neck slot. Wouldn't that work?

    Just thinking out loud.

Trion designed a game that encourages multiple roles and I don't think that players that step up and do less desirable roles (tanks) should be encouraged.
