    Lightbulb Casino Royale

I think it would be cool to have a giant coliseum in the middle of Shimmersand. Inside it could be filled with various games of skill (gambling would not fly, but tThe games could give tickets that you could purchase things with), a PVP style arena, and a race track in the middle.

And that brings me to the next point...

Breeding Xs (horses, mechanical horses, unicorns, manticores, chocobos, whatever). When breeding you can affect things like: speed, temperament, coloring, physical features, etc. So it would be a slow process with a lot of attention being placed on your beast. Could throw in a Tamagotchi-like feature that would require you to feed and play with it every day (or have a designee or kennel keep up with it while you are away). The mount could also come out of the stables so you could parade it around town.

Just a thought. Not original since I first saw this in FF6. But I think it would bring a lot of fun for casual players. Gives us something else to do at 50.

As I read this my head began shaking to and fro.

So you want to turn Rift into some kind of FreeRealms knockoff without the micro-transactions?
The Trinity is unholy! Down with the Trinity!

I know of FreeRealms, but I have not played it. I'm thinking back to Final Fantasy 6. I don't think it would come close to becoming the FreeRealms knock-off. The title of #1 WoW knock-off would still remain firmly in place. And not that almost every MMO out there has borrowed or stolen ideas from other games. And just because I'm playing a RPG doesn't mean I'm playing D&D.

If some people would enjoy it, then why not? It gives people something to do other than grinding gear. And no one would be forced to play it. It would be a small subset of the entire game.

And I didn't know FreeRealms had a flexible class system coupled with a semi-dynamic environment. I need to go check that out.
