Default Planetouched Wilds (Open PvP Zone Suggestions)

I've been thinking about this alot and there is that big zone east of Droughtlands not being used for anything atm. It could very well be the PvP area that Trion is working on.

    My idea for it is

    Planetouched Forge

Recently the dragon cults of Telara uncovered an old Ethian factory that was once part of their great empire destroyed in the colossal series of blasts that ended up destroying the empire.

This factory contains all of the machinery required to manufacture Ethian machines, this poses a great risk to the continued survival of Telara

    Lay out

    5 Wardstones

One in each corner powering a ward shield to protect the forge from any and all attacks. The Fifth wardstone in the center of the forge projects the shield drawing power from the others.

Inside the depths of the forge is a contained source of planar energy, One of the six Harbingers of the planes. The Objective is for the assaulting faction to unbind the Harbinger from its planar prison and expel it back to the planes gaining control of the factory.

Guardians - Take control of the factory and ensure the machinery is not used to create dangerous machinery.

Defiants - Take control of the factory to bolster creation and power of standing technology in the fight against the planes.

    The fight

Each Wardstone powers the central Wardstone providing physical/planar and magical immunity to all exterior assaults.

The defending faction who currently controls the central wardstone must defend each of the external stones against both enemy fire and frequent planar invasions matching both the Harbinger's plane and their planar allies. - Planar enemies spawning in this zone have PvP stats instead of PvE, they have Valor instead of Toughness and their damage responds to Valor instead of Toughness.

Once a Wardstone has been destroyed, Shield power is reduced by 25% allowing 25% of damage to be allowed through.

Once the Central wardstone is destroyed the shield containing the Harbinger fails.

Destroying the planar chains unleashes the Harbinger and removes zone control from the defending faction.

    PvE

Each destroyed Planar enemy has a chance to drop Planetouched Shards of their corresponding alignment, which allows you to open unique Expert/Raid rifts to aquire both PvE and PvP weapons and armor.

For non-PvErs who wish to only do PvP, the same PvP weapons and armor are available from the Planetouched Goods vendor at the Porticulum zone in area and can be bought with special Planetouched points awarded at achieving objectives in the event, killing enemy players and planetouched invasions also gives a small amount of points.

There is a 1 hour reset timer between each match.

Each match has a randomly spawned Harbinger with associated unique abilities.

Harbinger of Death - Spawns Death voids and has a persistent aura of death while in range.
Harbinger of Life - A self-heals buff and others
Harbinger of Earth,Water,Air,Fire - unique abilities of their own.

Also when the Harbinger is unbound, it will summon invasions to protect him.

1000 reinforcement count per battle, possibility of an object or control zone that recharges reinforcements

    Attackers win if

They kill the Harbinger with in 15 minutes of releasing him from the planar chains.
They drain defender reinforcements to 0
    They kill defender commander

    Defenders win if

They drain defender reinforcements to 0
    They kill attacking commander
They lose if Harbinger is released from planar chains but can restore control if they steal the Harbinger kill from the attackers

    Tie

If the Harbinger is released from his Planar chains and is not killed within 15 minutes the event is over and the zone becomes neutral if this event occurs the next battle the exterior wardstones become planar footholds and all of them must be destroyed to access the forge the team that takes down the Harbinger, the one that lands the killing blow will win the fight. - Time limit on Harbinger kill once shields are disabled - 1 hour
