    Question Trion IDEAS to think about?

    I am making this post because I am sick of people QQing over classes and wanted a different topic to talk about, plus this will allow players to post there ideas and hopefully some ideas you like and can implement into the game.


    Auction House
    1) Allow players to buy x amount of items from a stack of items
    a. Example 50 cloth a player can buy 25 from that stack
    2) Better way to search for items (no other way of putting it lol)
    a. Add filters
    b. When you have an item in your BAG you can click on it to bring up that item to see what others are selling it for, why not allow use to click an collection item we do not have and it brings it up in the AH for use to buy.

    Guild
    1) Guild Hall
    a. All crafting stations
    b. Portals to port places
    2) Guild Bank

    Players
    1) Shard bank with your other chars
    2) Housing (Allows you to sell from your home)
    3) Implement CLOAKS into the game for players to wear
    4) Implement 2 Earrings (more gear the better right)

    Interface
    1) All in one Bag Mod for inventory / bank
    2) When having a raid icon on a mob, display that number on the targets icon that shows his life
    3) Allow target to target (if this feature is in the game cant find it)
    4) Allow players to place more than 1 coordinate on the map (2-4)

    Trade Skills
    1) Fishing
    2) Cooking
    3) Carpentry (if you implement housing / guild halls
    4) Allow your window to stop resetting when crafting
    a. When your crafting x amount of items and try to look at other items after and item is created you will auto jump to the top of your trade skill window VERY ANNOYING.

    Zone
    1) Allow flight Paths
    2) Make the respawn rate of mobs not so fast in heavy mob population.
    3) Should NEVER get dismounted from a mob that is gray to you!!!!!!!!!!

    Instances
    1) Allow players to use there special ability (jump, run speed) Why give us one if we can’t use it all the time RIGHT!
    2) At the end of the Zone allow a NPC to appear and give the users 2 options
    a. Zone me out of the instance…
    b. X amount of gold to port back to Meridian.
    3) Allow a LFG search for instances




    NOTE: Remember these are Ideas some good some dumb, keep an open mind.

    First if you are talking about wow, yes some of these Ideas are from that game, but they are nice features like LFG for instances (a very nice feature for players) Also there are ideas that are not implemented in WoW.

    Second I am praying RIFT is that dagger to WOWs heart. I am aware people like to bash WOW, but some features are nice to have.

    With the skills based around three per person, they really shouldn't add more to the number of skills. As it is, the only way to have two crafting skills that you don't need to buy mats for is go butcher/outfitter/runecrafter, as I recall - all the other crafting skills want to different types of gathered materials.

    You could have secondary skills that everyone could pick up, fishing / cooking. Who wouldn't like special food when raiding to add more stats?

    UI Edit:
    Hide place holders for bars if they are not enabled. It clutter /distorts the orientation of other items
    "Test" toggle to show mockup Raid /Group frames
    Show grid to help with UI alignment
    Option Snap to grid/snap to corners and center
    Option to toggle for "sticky" off/on
    Option to overlap of frames if so desired
    Vertical/Horizontal : Menu Buttons/Bag Bar/Buffs-DeBuffs/Experience Bar/Cast Bar/Name Plates
    Option to flip frames for other side of screen: Portrait/quest/mini-map
    Group Scale for similar windows (all unit frames, all action bars)
    Individual Cast bar that is moveable / scalable
    Ability to edit the Mount / Harvest cast bar
    Moveable and lockable Loot Window
    Ability to edit the quest / crafting frames
    Font type/color/size type options for al UI elements Unit Frames/Chat/Tooltip/SCT/ etc
    Ability to on/off any and all UI elements
    Letter Box/Viewport option Black border on top and bottom or left and right

    Unit Frames: (Player, Target, Group, etc)
    Ability to set Main Assist - gives frame for assist
    Group: Use Raid Frame for Group
    Option to remove portrait
    Show Marking (1,2,3) on Target Frame
    Option to put buffs above / below frame
    Dual Target (Friendly/Enemy)
    Pop-up menu needs to reverse direction when frame is below half way. (Presently menu can go off screen if your frame is close to the bottom.)
    Option to show Health Deficit values (2356/2567 is difficult to see compared to -211)
    Request for Target of Focus Target
    Class Icon on Target Frame
    Ability to see Soul Spec from player frame (not enemy PvP)
    DPS/HPS info (yes it’s a contentious request, but it is a request by many) At least for self
    Range - Easy determination who is in range and out of range for heals (not extreme range)
    Extreme range indicator (person in raid / group across zone or in other zone, no way to get to them to heal)
    Class Mechanic should display Combo Points.

    Raid:
    Raid Frame LOCK
    Raid Window target needs to be more visible
    Raid leader needs some form of flag to be identified
    Option for mana bars in Raid
    Show HoT mini-icon with timer for players HoT's (i.e. My HoT on Tank character)

    Buff / Debuff:
    Different frames for: Player Buffs, Player Debuffs, Target Buffs, Target Debuffs, Group Buffs, Group Debuffs
    Resizing of the different buffs / debuffs frames individually
    Option to show only your debuffs or make them appear first in list
    Option to only show debuffs that you can cure, based on abilities (not archetype)
    Option to show only your heals (HoTs etc) on raid / party / target frames
    Easy view for class specific buffs /debuffs i.e. keep what are pertinent to your class at the top etc
    Long and short effect bars. One for > 30 sec, and another for < 30 sec
    Option to display Horizontal / Vertical
    Option for Bar Timers instead of Blocks

    Scrolling Combat Text:
    Moveable
    Options i.e. sprinkler, rainbow, radius effects
    Show over heals as an option

    Name Plates/Combat Meters:
    Off/On features for friendly/enemy/guild/group/raid/critters etc
    Make clickable for targeting
    Show Castbars
    Change order/layout of bars
    Scale for threat level
    Show Mana

    Targeting:
    Option for Color change of Target Reticule/Arrow
    Selection ring / arrow for target-of-target
    Option to remove pest from tab-targeting (enemy and friendly)
    Larger Click-target hitboxes
    Make Name Plates/Combat Meters clickable
    Tab Target range adjustment. Allow us to increase/reduce the range via slider in settings

    Inventory and Bank Bag:
    Option for one single bag frame
    Sort feature (Type, Usable, Quality)
    Quest items not take bag space (separate bag?)
    Bags need to be Scalable other than using global scale
    Bank: Bags in Bank should not open/close when you open/close all bags in inventory
    Ability to rename bags
    Auto classify bags. i.e. potions in this bag, equipment in this bag, tradeskill items in this bag

    Quest tracker:
    Auto fill when completing a quest, load in of incomplete quests
    Audio alert when completing portion of collection / kill quest
    Populate up or down by option
    Mark dungeon quest as such and show instance entrance marker on the map

    World Map:
    Option to show Tracking items i.e. trainer/banker/etc.
    Option to show ALL quests (even if not tracked)
    Show level of zone

    Mini Map:
    Show Pet

    Character View:
    Confirm box for Applying Dye is in the way where you cant see if you want to confirm
    should default to equipment page
    paper doll and dressing room Is DARK, please lighten the mood

    Character Select:
    Double click to log into character
    Character that you have Helm hidden on, displays helm

    General:
    Vendor: sort/filter options: level, type, price, useable, reputation etc
    Option to cast spells on Self if Target has no Target
    Option to turn off Ghost Effect on Death. (It makes some people ill)
    Ignore: Ignore should effect entire account for your ignore target maybe even including forums
    Unified Friend / Ignore list across characters on same shard / faction
    Guild Recruiting listing
    Need ability to see Rift Contribution after rift is over
    Ability to hide alert messages: "That can only be used as a reaction" "Can only cast one ability per macro"
    Gear Swap: A UI element to setup your gear swap.. Yes we know about the Macro option
    Inspect: Tab to see Soul Spec
    Addition of Prestige and Notoriety bars
    Roll: on Artifacts when in group/raid. Don’t allow Need if person already has item or added to their collection
    Roll: Don’t allow Need if not of Archetype. i.e. Warrior should not be able to Need a chain/leather/cloth item
    Allow right click turning even when over UI elements

    Crafting:
    Stop list from jumping around. Very frustrating when looking at the LONG list of craftables
    Runcrafting needs some form of sorting. i.e. slot or stat boost
    Runebreak/Salvage Queue
    Add Training button in the Trainer Trade Window
    Add Trade button to the Trainer Train Window
    In craft window show where material is attained: Vendor/Crafted/Profession/Looted

    Keybinds:
    ALL Keys and Mouse Buttons - should be able to be rebound except the main Enter Key
    Allow change of Mouse Binds. Left/Middle/Right/Including Scroll Wheel
    Option for Camera Control from keybinds
    Option for Mouse Look mode
    Configurable zoom speed for mouse wheel. Wow this is slow
    Crouch - Request a crouch option
    Hot key to Hide/Show Quest Tracker
    Add scrolling through Action Bars i.e. pgup/pgdown
    Option to turn off Shift Click for marking targets and renaming pets

    Action Bars:
    Option to remove artwork from bar 1
    Cool down timers on action bars i.e. Large numeric countdown
    Experience Bar as own element
    Ability to change number of columns and rows… i.e. 2 rows of 5 but still considered one action bar
    Ability to move hot buttons when bar is locked via shift, or alt etc.
    Ability to adjust number of buttons per bar
    Out of Range needs to be more visible. The small number going red is hard to see
    Right Click / Left Click options i.e. target cast on LMB, self cast on RMB

    Chat Frame:
    Allow world interaction when typing frame is up.
    Background options: Solid/Fade (vertical/horizontal)
    Chat Tabs should go to same transparency as the rest of the frame
    Option to remove chat shadows
    Option to turn off/on specific chat bubbles for: Party/Raid/NPC etc.
    Option for chat to flash when new message shows i.e. Tell / Guild message will make it flash
    Option to remove scroll bar
    Need command to show all available channels: /list
    Need ability to highlight text and be able to ctrl+a, ctrl+c the text
    Lock in place. Frames float around on UI Load depending where you put them
    Auto Scroll to end of chat after X amount of seconds option
    Auto Text fade after x amount of seconds of no new text
    Add Ctrl+Backspace ability (that erases entire word)
    Allow ability to make chat frame even smaller, both Vertically and Horizontally
    Add-to-Friends on left click options
    Add /who on left click options
    Request: Class Chat channel
    Emote: Please add /spit
    Allow Flush alignment with side of screen (no little tiny gap)
    Option to turn off spam warning messages in combat log
    Add /tt to whisper target

    Macros:
    Cast Sequence features
    Mouse input options (mouse down, mouse up, etc)
    Allow to activate two or more abilities simultaneously if only one activates global cooldown
    Allow use of multiple actions of non combat abilities.... Numerous buffs on one macro for group buffup
    Add: #show [mod:alt] Ability1; Ability2
    Add: /cast [mod:alt] Ability1; Ability2
    Add: [mod:enemy] and [mod:friend]
    /supressmacrofailures should affect chat box as well
    Official Documentation is needed

    Auction House:
    Filter/Sort for: Useable, Quality, Bid, Buyout, Greater, Lesser, Item Slot, Stat
    Needs checkbox for Useable. Which covers class/level
    Ability to list single item from a stack
    Ability to Sell X number of Stacks of Y items (i.e. 5 stacks of 10 tin bars each)
    Remember list price of items from last time posted. (doesn’t remember if you don’t have any up in AH already)
    Allow Batch Posting
    Blank out the P/G/S when posting auctions. No need to show 0 as null can = 0

    Mailbox:
    Audio Alert on Mail received
    Simplify the AH e-mails. Too cluttered and no need for the 20 digit auction number
    Option in Mailbox to Auto-Loot Auction items
    Auto Subject when putting items in
    Remember last sent persons name. At least while window is still open
    Free mail to Guild Members
    Forward mail with attachments
    More attachment slots

    Tooltip:
    Option for Tooltip on mouse
    Tooltip to display NPC type i.e. Rogue Trainer, General Goods, Range Weapons etc
    Tooltip to display 3 soul types for players of same faction, and possibly point spread

    Guild:
    Allow promotion of offline members.
    Default to Roster

    General Requests Not UI Specific:
    Guild Bank
    Shared Bank between Alts (not across factions/server)
    Vanity Gear slots. (for PvP, when flagged make the vanity items not display)
    More hair styles. Allow changes to hairstyle in game via barber etc.
    Have pets model scale for their level via added visual elements. i.e. armor, weapons , size
    Opulence, I haz it!!!

    1. Right click the item in your inventory with the Auction house open.
    2. Target to target being: I'm targetting player A who is targetting play B so I press F to switch to player A's target?

    Other than that nice list, appart from the Guild things. Not a fan of making guilds essential, (Which they already kinda are..)

    the right click is for collection items you do not have in your inventory. So when you bring up your collection window and see your are missing one, instead of typing that item out in the AH they should add the right click option of that item so it will auto put the name in the AH for you.

    I like the feature because you always have that one time when you are like. Man i just need 4 of that item not a stack of 50. You really dont want to waste that money so you go out farm it and waste time lol . I know you could prob buy a stack and resell the reset, but way to much time....I mean there are rifts to destroy lol.
