That line at the bottom means you already have a curse beta key added to your rift account. Adding another would not make any difference.

Edit: Also, having a normal key does not automatically grant you a spot in the beta, it gives you a _chance_ to participate. You'll get an email if you get selected, if i understood things right.

i really didn't see anything wrong with aion, i just didn't have enough personal incentive to start. and i quit wow a few months ago for GOOD. willing to start something new, and rift sounds like a great new idea, and looks fantastic. be nice to get in and test it out but im sure my time will come. Aion is good no doubt, its just wow is more popular cause its EZ to play, which appeals to most gamers.

Hmm.. Aion had it's issues. No endgame. Ridiculous drop rates. (sorry spending 4-5 hours each day to get no drops is a waste of time for me) Grinding was horrible at late levels. But thats neither here or there. I look forward to Rift and what it has to offer with the unique customization.

BTW, Totallysane, you want to be looking for VIP keys, since that automatically gets you into access to all beta events.

Yeah nothing wrong with 18 hours of grinding for a level and less than 1 drop every 14 boss kills.

    Perfect game.

"Beta Key" means something else here. I also got the key from Curse thinking it was a beta key like other MMOs I have played. But all this does is increase changes of getting into beta, I believe.

I liked Aion till about level 35. I stuck around till level 40. After level 40 I found it impossible to level and quit.
