LOL. POTBS is a "popular MMORPG"
LOL I never saw that graph before ban man, EVE is so spot on, however I still wouldn't say it was really to steep. I would say however it would probably be too steep for the game RIFT wants to be.

What is a core gamer?
I do not know the exact definition of the word, but it is between casual and hardcore. I interpit it as serious & wants a challange. I am confident someone can do a better job of describing it though.
Casual---------------------------------------------------------------*----------------------------------------------------------Hardcore
* == Core

I still have good money on you not being able to cross archetypes with souls. That doesn't mean that certain buffing or utility souls won't be available to all, but I seriously doubt we're going to run into the main tank/primary healer type situation.
I mean, I guess it would just be a guy who you know, grabs bananas and runs. Or, um, a banana that grabs things. I don’t know.
Why would a banana grab another banana? I mean, those are the kind of questions I don’t want to answer.
actually im wondering if ONLY the third soul will be allowed to go outside your "calling".
so if im a rogue i can go ranger (ugh) as my first soul, nightblade as my second and then with my third i can take the purifier, which would lessen my damage but open up some basic heals and buffs.
where as if i would have taken say the "Dark Archer" Class (yes yes nothing like its been announced just an example) My damage would have stayed the same or escalated since all three would be in the rogue line of souls
WTB the above item .... mine broke
Oh sorry....I've never seen a game made for hardcore, but I have seen games made for casuals and core gamers.I would have said hardcore is a description of gameplay style, whereas core is a description of gamer type, as is casual. Think we seem to be having language issues today![]()
If you say plz instead of please, I say no because it's shorter than yes.
