Default Please Make Planar Exhaustion Disappear on Death

Pretty much what the title says. Please make the raid-wide debuff Planar Exhaustion (the one you get after using Enrage or Lava Field) disappear when the players have died. Make it work the same way battle weary does for flaring power. It's really annoying having to wait up to five minutes between pulls during progression in order to get proper raid DPS.

Why was it designed this way, anyways?

Would have to agree with having to wait for debuffs to drop. At least have Cota remove them.

While you're at it make Legendary Flaring Power's cooldown 2minute again and not 5minutes. It doesn't matter if the debuff has worn off, you still have to wait.

So much this! A 5 minute cooldown for casting a spell is just ridiculously disgusting. The debuff from lava and orchestra isn't so bad as those abilities can still be cast just without granting the associated buff. Several pulls on Silgen or high priest where we found the group sitting there for 2+ minutes waiting for cooldown of my flaring power because it was better to wipe and reset than waste rezzes to try and salvage a blundered pull. Or that brilliant legendary hit mechanic where if it's a 1 tank fight and something goes wrong you're guaranteed to lose at least 1 dps before tank gets rezzed and can taunt.

That being said if it's truly progression I'd recommend sticking out the fight as long as possible (up to the 5 minute mark) and hammer down learning the mechanics. For instance if you're on Silgen practice improving tether timing or dodging that pesky fire circle. If on the priest push the limits of max dps before los or possibly work on a strat for what to do or where to go when someone gets turned into a fire elemental.

Or due to current events try and find a way to get spawns of arakhurn to not reset(good luck).....jokes aside It's not ideal but given these unthoughtout cooldown and debuff timers it's no longer worth it to "just wipe".

Also could save golems for times like these and just go kill a golem instead of afking for several minutes for cooldowns

It would be awesome if this change could be implemented. Would make progression way more efficient. I'm still not sure why it was designed this way.
