    Default Thank you for SFP!!

With all the negativity floating around the new expansion I wanted to take a minute to express how great starfall prophecy has been for me.

Since the release of the expansion I have been extremely productive in real life activities. Now, instead of raiding on raid nights I have been going to the gym those nights. Instead of warfronts I have been playing my guitar much more often, and instead of pugging old raids on alts, I have been reading like never before.

All in all I would have to say SFP has been amazing for me.

I'm curious if SFP has been as beneficial for others as it has for me.

Very much so. I have been getting a lot more work done at work which will help advance my career. I have also been getting closer to my family. I have taken up a few other hobbies that I would not have otherwise had time for as well.

We are all very glad to hear that you have found a good game/life balance. The real world is an amazing place, full of family, friends, work, and other activities!

We, too, like reading, being outdoors and music.
    Rock on!

In all seriousness, we don't expect everyone to still be playing SFP, but we have a great many players who have not yet made it to end game content. We all play at different speeds. The Devs have a lot in the works, in both 4.1 (soon) and 4.2 (summer).

My personal advice: when I had all the time in the world to play, I was heavily active in three demanding games at once. An increasing number of people will cycle between several MMOGs, to ensure that there is always new content, and that they don't burn out. I play RIFT, ArcheAge and Guild Wars 2. =)

Again, not everyone progresses as fast as driven players. No dev team can keep up to the ability of people to outgrow content, and there is always a need for more.
We hope you find things to like in the next two updates and what lies beyond.

It's been great in the way that I have made a much bigger pool of plat compared to what I am used to having.

The graphics are awesome, the leveling is (mostly) consistent, the PvP sucks, and the less said about the economy the better. Still waiting on the next expansion map. Faction, racial, and class balances need a SERIOUS looking-at.

In the beginning of SFP, I thought leveling was going to be such a drag.. I found that the story line was so amazing. Questing was a blast! upon discovering the "Fragment system" was all too exciting, it's an entirely new experience that I very much enjoy.

I'm pretty avid and awaiting to experience what 4.1 has to offer. Hope to see you all there, and I wish you all the best of Luck!

I've found video game heaven on my PS4 for now... Zelda Breath of the Wild is an open world masterpiece, the amount of fun rolled in to that game is staggering... and Horizon Zero Dawn, another masterpiece of graphics, content and open world adventuring on a scale not seen since Fallout 4.
Honestly, after playing these two games it's tough to justify allocating time for Rift or for an MMO that requires further payment or relying on others to show up in the endgame.
    I Rift, therefore I am.

You're suggesting there are a great many players that haven't managed to level from 65 to 70 in four and a half months and you expect us to take that seriously?

In a MMO there are several playstyles. Socialiser, achiever, freeroamer, pvper et cetera. Everything is a legit playstyle.

That said there is a huge difference between the raider that burns through content to reach the endgame asap and the guy that celebrates everytime he "dings" a new level.

And because those approaches to a MMO are so different, people can come to complety different perceptions of the state of the game.

Well said. Personally, i had my main level 70 in a day or two, and got a ton of shard firsts, including the challenger's mark and some other cool stuff.

I know that i missed a lot by doing that, but afterward i went back and got the achievements for discovering every part of every zone.

I got into pvp more seriously as well. I dont like the fact that stuff is broken either. I dont like that it feels like so many people have left or the toxicity of a lot of the posters(do many of them even play or just have forum accounts to talk trash?)

Rift was great. It was very unique, special, and didnt feel like it catered to your average person. It was rewarding for these reasons.

I think rift really needs to find itself, and that trion needs to win back the hearts of the people who have lost their patience or feel like they have abandoned this game.

This game feels neglected. I dont like that one bit. Its like a beautiful building that is being left to rot. I dont want to see that happen because i really like pretty much everything that rift was, and could be again.

With all the new conent and endgame introduced with SFP, i have been able invest my money i would have used on service items ingame elsewhere. From the release and until now, i have been paying a little extra on loans. With this and at the same time having little to no need to log on to play (finished most of what SFP had to offer arround xmas), i have had an urge to fill up the "dead time" that appeared.

To fill up this dead time, i have put more hours into my partowned company. This led to something positive, the customer base increased and my salary increased.

Thanks to SFP i now have a little extra to invest in the apartment i'm moving to next week.

Gotta say, the OP is on target. Many of us went outside and lived life!

SFP for the available content has been refreshing with some of the new features. Fragments, while they do get overwhelming at times sure beat the hell outta carrying multiple sets of armor and weapons. As for rushing this out the door cause the peeps involved seemed to believe there was some form of urgency, well, they shoulda made an expac that they knew the clients would view as a valuable installment to the fine franchise we all have enjoyed. Rushing this has left many guilds dormant. Disappointing, you better believe it! However, with 4.1 I remain hopeful that we will enjoy new raids and other content that makes guilds necessary. As for LFR, we'll be continuing our guild member pre-mades and coop efforts with other guilds. Yeah, we GM's have a tight bond in game and do everything we can to assist one another.

Still hopeful that we are offered an addendum of value and Trion et al breaks down and promotes the hell outta Rift!! HINT TO TRION
