I started out as a Cleric with Sentinel/Warden/Inq. Went pure healing with it and it was good for both solo and dungeon healing. However, out of curiosity of the other souls and to get a better feel for the uniqueness available to me, I changed to Justicar/Shaman/Druid, weilding a 2h mace and healing my party/raid through dps. It's not the highest dps I would hope for at the moment but I am certainly pleased with the survivability & support my heal effects provide to the group. If I need to burn some mana, I can also drop a small group heal in a tight pinch to help the real healers catch up.

I have yet to try it in pvp but overall I would say this combination has been incredibly fun for me. I did not go far up in Justicar. Just enough to get certain things, then I focused enough in shaman to get the shield and crit, then druid for even more crit and whatnot. I am in love with this and may make it my main role come launch, unless the rumors are true about the beta 6 patch notes.

edit:also, the battle rez at top of justicar soul makes it sound like this combination would be very close to the support role I played in Age of Conan as a Conquerer. I did not like AoC but I loved the experience I had playing that role for my guild in raid content.

I normally play mages and clerics/healers in MMO's..

I certainly have never liked rangers

This game, I found my favourite to be my Marksman/Ranger/Sin because she is simply so much fun..

My other fav at the moment is my Sham/Justicar/Druid - once I got over the initial desire to punch my fairy pet repeatedly for that nasty pink hairdo and once I had renamed it to Machismo, I was very happy..

Please Trion - reskin that pet ^.^

Marksman/Riftstalker...I spent the extra day of Beta 5 just seeing how many rifts i could take down...combining the Marksman run speed boost and the riftstalker phasing/teleport forward....I was making all sorts of great time going across the country side..no mount needed!

Not to mention that I could switch roles once I got to where I was going and set the points for amore damage-dealing build.

I first tried a druid/shaman/justicator, but wow, is it dull. I was basically doing the same thing from levels 4-22, running at a mob and mashing one or two buttons.
Then I rolled a saboteur... fun, fun, fun.
Bard didn't look that exciting to me at first, but the more I look at their talent tree, the more I want to try one in the next beta phase.

Ranger kind of surprised me...well, the ranger's first pet. I had bard as my main, and took ranger just for the hell of it and was so disappointed when I saw I had a pig. Pig turned out to be extremely hardcore, though. Getting some heals from Cadence, the damn thing just doesn't die and can easily take on 3 mobs. I just sit back and play some tunes.

    That'll do pig.

    Yes please!!

Even tho it's my pet, I have this deep seated desire to drag it through mobs to kill it off..

And you dont want to know what my daughter renamed it while I was afk...

For the health and wellbeing of fae pets everywhere, please reskin that pet Trion!

I ended up main healing as a bard doing Realm of Fae...and I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. It was so manic keeping buffs up and trying to keep the tank alive. I know bard probably can't main heal anything harder than fae, but still, a great class to play.

bard was my big surprise although Sab is up on the testing list for me.

Rogue archetyp offers so much promise I'm about 90% certain I'll play one first. Lego Charachters pick your tree's. Love the class system.

I too refuesed to play ranger because I loathe being a pet caster. I will not roll ranger but that being said, I first fell in love with assas/sab/bd and then I fell in love with nb/sab/bd. The first is sick 1 on 1 and the second is sick 1 on many. I still can't decide which to play. I personally do not see a point in being both an assasin and a nightblade as they are just way too similar low down on the trees. I am probably liking the latter build with nb a tad more than assasin but the idea of giving up perma invis on the assasin tree is a tough thought..
