The game is phenomenal so far (honestly).
For a beta, it looks great, feels great, plays great.
Very minimal issues on my computer whatsoever regarding technical issues.
If people are having major issues, it's most likely because they are still on an outdated computer that runs their previous game just fine.
To those people: Even console gamers have to buy something new every few years. Get with the program.
I've been in a few MMO betas and launches. Even the mighty powerful overlord of MMOs had somewhat of a tough launch getting enough servers up, etc.
Don't let that get you down.
There is such a thing as feedback, and there is such a thing as complaining.
Most of what's going on here is the latter.
I imagine the majority of the people on here abusing the latter are going to go back to their previous "game" they played full-time anyways, so let them go.
I frequent many guilds that have ventrilo/teamspeak, etc, and discussed how they felt the Beta went.
So far with the exception of one or two people, out of many, the outlook is very pleasing. (And it's not even released + beginning bug fixes from the launch).
I can't stress enough how well the mechanics, customization, graphical appeal, and even just the overall polish has been.
People who love this game are avoiding these forums because there is no reason to argue these points to people who don't want to hear other points of view. They just want to spit off their complaints in the beginning in the hopes of getting something "they" want. Just ignore them.
Keep going strong with your plans, whatever they may be. You clearly are very talented developers and designers, I'm sure you know what you're doing.
Thank you for letting me try out your beta events, as I probably would have never pre-ordered or even purchased this game for months out of fear.
So many times have I been let down, it's tough not to be a little cautious.
