I actually like the Trion design of this unicorn a lot better than the prancing stuff other people seem to just die for (see most of the screenies in this thread). It's a nice beefy mythical beast, ready for war.

Anyway, it really should have a longer horn.. and probably be a bit lighter (like the exceptional white dye you can use). And less of a saddle. You'd need something to sit on though.

Its called bareback, and Unicorns myths never depict them as having a saddle... because they're generally symbolic of pure natural order, over which man has no control of.

Hopefully doesn't share rigging with another mount.

The skins kind of look like it could go over the Ursin/Bear/Panda mounts pretty easily. Hopefully that's not the case.

Trion, I'm disappointed. This is just lazy. The Aurora Horse Model would have looked better than the clydesdale you stuck a horn on. A little more creativity next time please?

Okay. The unicorn myth has taken the route of vampires and mermaids. It was not suppose to be a pretty animal in the beginning, and yet has become the sparkly white ethereal entity of the current day.

My complaint, I want my mount to bellow, thunderous angry bellows.
Also, there's a rumour that unicorns are only as pretty as the purity of the beholder.

This. Why not take advantage of the Unicorn model they already had? Sparkles is a Unicorn, this new thing is just not. Now I'm starting to feel sorry for it, lol.

Thing is, if time and resources are tight because 3.0, why not pick the Nebula model to do a quick reskin/recolour of and stick a horn on? That one is at least cool-looking. Maybe removing the silvery armour mesh would be a fair amount of work to go for the bareback/force of nature thing but it could've been coloured white too?

The big ploddy solid sturdy starter horse is just great for newbie characters because it fits the theme that you're a reborn scrub with access to little more than the common peoples' stuff. Like a plough horse or something that'd pull a wagon to market. To use it as a base for a unicorn though..?

(Look I'm not at all a fan of the whole puke-inducing flowy mane sparkling poop brony fantasy style of unicorn at all - not one bit - but something cooler could've been done with it than a bucket of whitewash )
