What ever happened with new necro pets?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the new pet aesthetics that released 2 patches ago for Clerics, Warriors and Rogues weren't the only ones on the menu, and the mage pet classes would get some love.

As much fun as it is having my necro mage's tank pet running around with his sword pointing towards his face looking like he died from stupid, I'd love to see a new and more awesome look for him.

Sooooo... what ever became of those plans?

They are in the same place as Master DSM, Trapping, Plane touched wilds and the community camp out event


Hopefully won't be waiting till SL but that is a pretty slim hope

I think the reason they weren't released is because necro is being overhauled to the extent that the current pets may not exist at all in SL. So the decision was made to save the new skins for the new pets.

o.O Could you be right? Oh, be right, an overhaul, and even a very change to practicality in Raiding would be so wonderful.

I enjoy my Necro when I'm soloing. Highly survivable. I would greatly love to see new skins and animation and maybe a undead non-humanoid. That would be cool along with some new abilities to make it more usable in raids and dungeons.
