Instant Adventure is coming to lower-level Zones in 1.9, as well as Mentors who may stop by and liven things up.

Could always just attack Rifts/Invasions. Their rewards have been nerfed a bit, thus I dunno if you'll have my leveling history (I leveled to 50 pretty quickly basically by Dungeons and Rifts alone).
