    Default Collector's Edition Item: Ancient Tartagon mount.

    Question: A while back when Rift came out I signed up then a few weeks later I bought the Collector's Edition Item: Ancient Tartagon mount. Increases Character Speed by 60%.
    It cost $10.00. A while later I canceled my account. Now I came back and noticed that the mount is gone! I emailed customer support and they answered back telling me that I would have to buy it again. Is that fair?? In Warcraft you can closed your account and come back later and everything is still there.
    I find this not fair at all. Makes me wonder if I should have come back at all. I believe that mount was BOA.

    I've cancelled my sub and then resubbed again many times, but I've still kept my mount and everything else...you should email their support people.

    Hint: OP didn't actually do any of that.

    You buy the collector's edition, not the individual items. When you upgrade the account to include the CE, every character under that account gets the stuff, even when you create a new toon. When you unsub/resub, nothing gets taken away, your toons and everything they had is still there waiting for you. Customer support isn't going to tell anyone they have to buy the CE again. Saying "I'm not a troll" is like telling someone to trust you - if you have to tell someone to trust you then they really should not.

    I think there might have been some misunderstanding there.

    Are you saying that the (a)mount on your character is gone, or (b)the collector's addition from your Trion/Rift account is missing?

    If they understood it as a mount from your character was missing, they would have said that you need to "buy it again" from an in game vendor. That'd be if it was a mount you can purchase.

    If it's the mount in game and it is missing, while that's rather odd, there is a way you can fix it yourself.
    Just start up another character, get through the start zone, and check the mailbox. It should have the mount there. Just take the mount, and instead of collecting it, mail it to the character that is missing it.
    They are bound to your account not the character (if I recall correctly) so this should work.

    If you look at your account ( https://rift.trionworlds.com/account...e!input.action ) it will show you at both the top and bottom if you have the Classic Collector's Edition.
    If it shows up as an available upgrade you can purchase, make sure you tell them that in a ticket.

    I've accidently deleated goodies in my mailbox before. Was it a mount you had already collected, or was it just waiting in your mailbox but no longer there.

    Agree with the person above who gave the a) b) options..

    If your registration still shows you have the game collectors edition registered but you no longer have the mount, try re-rolling just to level 6 or so (when you leave the starting zone).. if you still don't get a mount, then open a ticket.

    If it's just that the one character loss his mount - maybe you accidently deleated it and didn't worry about it since you knew you were unsubbing anyways.

    Well, seeing as how you can't buy the items, you kind of seem like one.

    If you had really bought the Collector's Edition or upgraded your existing account, the mount would be there and/or in case that you deleted it, the GM would be able to restore your item.
