    Now this.

What's going on at Trion? Who is Rift's target audience? Where is the line drawn between art and decency?

Personally I think it's too much and should be addressed. It's starting to turn me off to Rift as it resembles a strip club more and more.
Its a dark age in Telara, women dont have time to sit around and watch Opera and get fat, they are in shape and fight the good war with everyone else.

If my Male Bahimi Rogue has to wear a skirt for a chest piece, i dont think looking at a 2 piece armor set is all that bad...

You mean if a dwarf (midget) jumped off of a bridge as high as the one in sanctum in real life they wouldn't survive?

Though it hasn't been verified yet, I believe that is supposed to be Crucia in human form...you know....Crucia...the Temptress. Like I pointed out to my BF last night after showing him the trailer and he asked "Why does she sound more like she want's to **** you then kill you?", Crucia is about controlling your mind...and it is SOOO much easier to control someone's mind if you "seduce" them into giving it to you of their own free will instead of simply trying to wrest control of it....so of COURSE she is going to be on the "sexy" side. Strategically, it is a very good place to start. Now she just has to figure out how to get all the straight females and gay males to not just give her a "*****, please!" look and ready their swords and spells as all the straight males and gay females stand by and drool over her. *snicker*

How many woman do you know at mid range size can wear 60-75 pounds of armor and still be mobile? So less makes them more mobile, which is a tactical advantage. Oh look you seduced your victim cause while he wasn't starring at your hand, the dagger you were holding found its mark. Oh wait another tactical advantage and still used to this day.

I try not to judge people based on the clothes they wear. It's shallow.

Personally, I'm not offended by the scantily-clad females. I put all my gear on my characters because I feel like they look awesome and powerful when wearing it.

I just shake my head when someone is running around a warfront in their underwear or a ball gown. But, I just assume they feel awesome and powerful when they do that, too.

Also, if scantily-clad characters in an MMO offend you, you really should make a concerted effort to stay away from real erotica.

If you say "plz" instead of "please" because it's easier to type, then I will say "no" instead of "yes" for the same reason.

How powerful must you be if all you need is underwear or a ballgown?

NEWSFLASH, all mmo's are like this. You don't like it then don't play. For the rest of adults who enjoy it, Trion, please keep up the exceptionally good work

Rift in my opinion has some of the least attractive females. I for one wish that the females had more in the chest and rear. I still prefer to play females since well I prefer to look at a women then a man.

Heck I like to dress my tank in a dress and kick ***. The outfits would be a bigger issue if the females in rift had more females hormones in them. As is it's a bunch of skinny chicks trying to be sexy. At least to me.

To the small minority that got their pantities in a bunch over this please rage quit. Really please quit. Like I said the models are way to skinny except for the dwarf females which is still ugly.

Also news flash look at comic books or movies.

Out of the races you can pick from I actually found the Dwarven female most attractive oddly enough - that's given the sterotypes about Dwarven women prevalent in most fantasy work featuring them.

I can't honestly say that I've ever run around the game world though and thought "wow.. those pixels were hot."

It's like the nonsense about Lara Croft when I was a kid.

Oh if I had the body, I would so be wearing that for my husband.

I wouldn't have time to game....

    Wait did I say that aloud? O_O;

As a female, I love how skimpy outfits can be. If I can at least have a character that can pull the outfits off, and kick butt then more power to her!

That is my thinking. It's not that the women of Telara are over sexualized; it's that they only need that much armor to get the same benefits us lowly guys get from full coverage. To give them the full coverage would be too imbalanced.

most of the gear i have seen covers up most of everything, however if this game is offensive due to styles of clothing i would also suggest not watching any movies from about 1965 and on.

rifts target audience is mostly male, and most males are heterosexual and we are also perverted. that is human nature, we are violent and sexual.
The beast behind our eyes is loose, the day has come, We march to Armageddon, hungry for the war I see the hated enemy, I see what I was taught to see And one of us will bend the knee We understand the law Children weep and widows wail, Our education systems fail,To hide our guilt we build more jails, and we shall build still more. For earth to heal we must die No one deserves it more. - Motorhead
