Thanks for all the info including comparisons on gameplay with other front runners. I like that this game feels more hardcore...to me that means challenging and fun. Something I really needed to hear.
Those who guard nature, guard life itself. Those who defile nature bring death and destruction upon us all.

Yes its very pleasing to hear the dungeons are challenging and not just tank n spank type mechanics. The impressions in general from both PAX and gamescon to me say one thing, the game starts out easing you into the game (perhaps a little too care bear for some) but things obviously get alot more complex as the levels increase as the dungeons give testament to.

I have no problem with the game starting as easy it seems to do, as the 'meat' of the game is not in its first 10 or so levels, its the game beyond thats important. As much as alot of us want big challenges from the start, we have to realise that the game is trying to suck in other players too, those who may be used to very easy games or no mmo yet at all. As long as there is challenge there to be had for those that look for it, things look rosey so far.

Im still very interested to see and hear about some mid level content and up though, my feeling is that these are the areas the will make or break the game for many. Im sure these are the areas still being worked on and tweaked, especially raids etc.

    Thanks for sharing.

I hope there is, or there will be, a system that remembers the ranked you have learned of skills in the past. Having to re-buy ranks every time you respec is a pretty big money sink! :P

Thank you for sharing your experiences.

The things that really stood out to me:

A Warrior Soul with rogue-ish attributes. I could definitely play this type of class or combo it up with something like the champion.

    Invasions sound extremely cool.

Possible AI that allows for complex behavior and pathing including no leashes.

Responsive as WoW, thought it feels a hair slower.

Most MMO forums wars are over the Game vs World divide. Which side are you on?
