armore sets.

hello, i am new to the rift game, and i liked it very much, but now i have encontered a litle problem. i thaught that the drops from dungeons are good, and didnt pay any atention to other peoples armores. so i have a armore of blue rare peaces from dungeons, and i am lvl 30 tank. and vhen i vent to som new dungeon i started daying straight away, and some healer asked how much armore i have, i sayd 3000, and he laught and sayd that he has 2000 as a healer, and considering the fact that i have a sheld that has about 800 armore points out of my 3000. so what am i doing wrong? where to get armore sets? i found a pvp trader for lvl 30 and rare planare trader near him, and i have not found any full sets of armore, and i tried to calculate all best armore from those 2 vendors, and i do not see a much biger number of armore points than my armore has. so where do people like that healer get a biger armore than even a tank ? please help. im despret

Not sure about your armour but what souls are you using?

I rarly did dungeons on my warrior when i lvl-ed (that was at launch and then there didn't excist the dungeon finder tool) so i was not with the shiny blue gear of lower dungeons and i didn't had any problems

my souls are paladin reaver warlord, i use reaver as main tree... where do you get your armore? what is the most used place by most of players to get it? are drops considered any good?

hmm, i never really had trouble with reaver, used it for lvl-ing too and use it now at 50 to tank too as from 1.6. (make sure that the warlod buff "empowering strike" is always active, that increases your armor)

For the rest i'm not sure. Your souls are alright ... maybe bad healer like the post above me said

Firefox has a built in spellcheck. It's much more comprehensible with proper spelling. Minor formatting may help, but not as important. Capitalization is not important, but being able to quickly understand someone is. You are free to argue against being able to more quickly and easily understand someone as better to solve their problem.

The main issue is that most Warrior talents boost armour by a percentage, and nobody has much base armour at low levels. 110% of a small number is still a small number. Plus if it was a cleric healer, he probably has almost as much armour anyway before your buffs. I don't play warrior myself, but 3000 armour at level 30 doesn't sound unreasonable, and as long as you're not taking excessive amounts of damage in dungeons, it doesn't really matter.

I am going to go with this. I cannot count how many times there are lazy and bad healers out there. A good healer can heal through almost anything. Seriously you could have the armour score of a grasshopper and still be healed through a dungeon. He was either lazy, or ignorant to his own class.

I have 2 clerics, 2 warriors and 2 rogues. I like healing myself as it is the easiest role out of all them. Seriously give it a try and you will see that healing is the absolute easiest role there is once you know how to do it. I have let people die because I have fallen asleep at the keyboard. I have healed through the tier 2's with only PvP gear and a rogue tank.

This. I thought healing must be really hard because of all the bad grouPs I had. So I made a cleric and use what some concider a tough heal spec, sent warden. Its so boring and easy I don't know how people have problems. I wassnt prepared with gear at all and used full rank 1/2 pvp armor for awhile without issue. Bad healers make okay tanks look bad.
