    1. Make LFG queue and Warfront queue draw from every shard
    2. Flying/swimming mounts 500% speed
    3. Arenas
    4. Remove the whole phony guardian vs. defiant 'lore'. After your starting zone, everyone gets all buddy buddy.
    5. Remove porticulums and give me a zero cooldown personal transporter pad. I click on the map and port there.
    6. Need more linear quests, where you go to a zone once to kill things, once to pick things up off the ground, then once again to kill some boss guy who you already killed twice before while killing things and picking things up.
    7. Lower prestige requirement for max pvp rank. It takes too long.
    8. Put in more crafting recipes. There aren't enough, and every one is so useful.
    9. Now that I thought about it, we can just do away with the persistent environment. Just give me a queue dropdown menu when I log in.
    10. Mechanical sharks with lazor beams on their heads.
    Don't mind me, I'm just being an idiot.

    I'd like a public place, like a large pub, where you could actually sit down, have a drink, and talk to people to exchange information and make plans, and so on. This would be a great place to eavesdrop, also.

    Defiants and Guardians should be able to have a temporary "truce" and be able to cooperate when they so choose.

    Make the portals cheaper. It is not fun to ride over the same ground a million times, and this is supposed to be fun.

    Create public queues for instances like those for warfronts.

    1) Make money easier to gather through hunting and killing creatures not just questing and dailies
    2) Add a much larger variety of armor, especially cloth!
    3) Add a much larger variety of weapons
    4) Reduce the cost of vitality
    5) Reduce the cost of planar objects, i get that you don't want to make content trivial but jacking the prices up so that you are forced to constantly grind to get things has the same effect on people who get through it too quickly and leave....boredom is boredom regardless
    6) Lower the time of Soul Recall!! I don't even know why there is a time stamp on this at all, who cares how many times i want to recall back to Meridian, really??? It's just a stupid unnecessary hardship for players
    7) Allow server transfers
    8) Fix the ability to dye clothing completely and add the ability to create different colors, heck real black would be nice lol!
    9) Add a bandage or heal kit system so we don't have to completely rely on potions
    10) My last request is a real wish list item, add the ability to loot unique items or spells, nothing better or stronger than what is currently available but let's say unique in the look of the weapon or effect of the spell

    1) Barbershop, and eventually new hairstyles and other things.
    2) More costumes, please make them really cool and creative. Not just what we see on NPC's, and nothing that breaks immersion/isn't relative enough to the game world or its time period and setting.
    3) New Starting Areas or at least camps for each race. Re-playing the same starting area is going to get really old really fast when making an alt
    4) Open up more zones with new more interactive and different varieties of quests.
    5) Mini Games
    6) New races possibly sooner rather than later.
    7) A new Archetype would be interesting, something different from the holy trinity we have now and has been overused forever pretty much, and of course new souls to go with that. Probably would wait until there's more races in the game to give people an incentive to actually play through again.
    8) Slightly increase the difficulty of T1 experts, notice I said slightly! And please make the money reward larger.
    9) Develop new content that requires the community of a server to band together and actually communicate with each other via the chat channels, that way the LFD tool will definitely NOT harm the sense of community.
    10) More prefix titles that would be fitting for female players on BOTH sides. Defiant needs them more, though.

    1. I've not tried the LFG tool yet but I'm hoping that it WILL group you with members of the opposite faction. Whilst I appreciate the factions from a lore/pvp perspective I don't see the logic behind splitting a server in half and not being able to do anything with those people. On one server you might have a very active Defiant population and a 'dead' (in comparison) Guardian population.

    In a similar vein, I think it's really unfortunate that you cannot /w people of the opposite faction. AGAIN I APPRECIATE WHY from a lore/pvp perspective but I think it'd be nice if it was an opt-in / opt-out kinda thing. Why merge servers when there's an entire faction and X amount of people on your own server that you could potentially group with?! Besides which, by the time you reach Stillmoor you're practically working together anyway!

    2. 50~ slot bags dedicated ONLY to harvesting and/or materials - keeping track of all that stuff is nightmarish, I've already spent 40+ plat on extra bank slots and there's still not enough on any of my toons to keep several stacks of every material.

    3. Shared bank slots between characters, would be nice (mostly from a mats/crafting perspective) - can see plenty of reasons for and against that.

    4. Keep on adding content at the speed they are doing. I'm amazed with the speed with which new content AND game UI/features are being added. Very impressive.. keep it up but most importantly MAKE SURE THINGS ARE BEING TESTED PROPERLY - no-one will like the improvements if they're a buggy mess (see my other post about money not being properly looted from containers at the moment)

    5. I should preface this by saying I've literally only ran Lantern Hook normal so far but I'm disappointed that since 1.2 I'm not going to be able to experience the original t1 / t2 vision.. I LIKE A CHALLENGE. I didn't start playing Rift just to have a tank round up 10 mobs and then AOE them all down in a Dungeon. It's supposed to reward strategy and teamwork. Now I won't know what I've missed.

    6. Ability to add notes on maps and/or have custom maps! Can't count the number of times I've stumbled across a mob, then have to right down the coords (which you can't input back in with a /waypoint command yet?)

    7. Auto-face. I know that will never happen tho. The only reason I want it is because I've also lost count of the number of times I've seen "You must be facing your target" during an Elite invasion when there are 40 players clustered around the wardstone you want to defend and 10+ invasion groups.. tab target is useless, selecting a mob manually is useless because 9/10 it'll select a player instead.. frustrating when as a bard you build your combo points up, the mob runs right past you and you can't cast your heal or even see it in the cluster of everything else. Still.. I know Scott won't do it because of the botters which is a fair enough reason.

    8. More lore. People keep on talking about how Rift is soulless.. well yeah.. I can kinda see that. But Rift didn't have JRR Tolkien's books to base off. Or 8000 compendiums of Dungeons and Dragons material etc. Build on the Lore, make it accessible and interesting and you'll win people over.

    9. Coming from EQ2 (and I know Scott did too) - I'd love to see something similar to Heritage Quests and Lore quests, long involving quests with a decent reward at the end. I know there are 'Story' quests in Rift but they don't match the epic scale or length of the ones in EQ2. (some of this can be attributed to it LITERALLY being 1 quest in EQ2 with lots of steps where as Rift handles it by giving you a long line of Story related quests instead.. I guess it's a different perspective.. would be nice to see the awesome HQ rewards tho)

    10. Expand on the wardrobe. I was a bit disappointed I couldn't use the sword/shield I'd kept hold of since I heard wardrobe slots were to become a reality. I guess EQ2 spoiled me in that regard. Again, lots of arguments for and against that and I can appreciate both sides of the coin.

    2. A barber, I am bored to death of my hair and want it changed!
    3. Open world dungeons, more places like The Endless Citadel except with actual 5 man mobs with rare spawn bosses that drop substantial loot.
    4. Dye being usable on mounts and weapons.
    5. More Epic quests!!
    6. a redesign (stats and effects) for the epic quest rewards.
    7. More options for clothing in the wardrobe slots. IE; specific clothing for specific zones. Why can my toon run around a frozen land and not freeze?

    I wish I'd thought of that in my post.. a thousand times this. Lots of other posts on the forum with people for and against this but I don't see any reason why you can't have instanced AND open world Dungeons, nobody forces you to do either of them and everyone wins one way or another.

    Expand on Endless Citadel, Shadefallen Keep (above and underground), Aelfwar Castle in Silverwood etc.. some great design there!

    The first time I went through EQ2s Wailing Caves, Stormhold, Fallen Gate, Ruins Of Varsoon, etc etc - I could go on.. they are some of the most fun MMO experiences I've had and I've sorely missed that in Rift. The ability for either a full group to go through, or just you and a friend duoing and utilising every skill in your arsenal to do something that SHOULD take 5 players was incredibly rewarding.

    People have trashed talked me every time I suggest open world dungeons in this forum. They go on to say how it is impossible to implement and that rifts are open world and I should be satisfied with that (weather or not it is actual open world content that requires group dynamics and not a zerg fest). These people of course are people who I can only assume came from games that never had these kinds of things (wow) and so they cant imagine how they could possibly be implemented without them becoming more zerg fests.

    2. Guild alliances or associations
    3. right-click invite for guild membership
    4. Barber or makeover NPC
    5. more mount choices at mid-level. Right now you have the basics, and then nothing more til level 40.
    6. better map marking with more player added waypoints
    7. more fluff stuff like easter eggs and wardrobe choices
    8. better gear aquisition - if you don't do warfronts, the drop rate of good stuff sucketh
    9. more racial diversification - every Bahmi looks alike
    10. things to do - races, minigames and the like, not more content. That's a whole other thread...

    Just a few suggestions... nothing too serious or game changing.

    1. Body customization. My cleric thinks she has a waaay too large butt!! Lack of body customization is my #1 gripe with the game!
    2. A barber for changing all aspects of your character at any time
    3. More and more varied armour/clothing pieces to customize looks
    4. Change the wardrobe so that ALL classes can use ALL armour in the wardrobe
    5. Expand the rift concept further to add more variety for endgame rifts. The rifts and invasions and THE best thing about the game, build on it!
    6. More zone invasions, more often.
    7. More crafting recipes that do NOT drop in dungeons but can be gained through other means. Crafting should be absolutely and totally independent from instances.
    8. Lots and lots of daily open world quests for those of use who don't want to run one instance after the other.
    9. Eventually... add more open world zones and increase level cap etc.
    10. Make the camera zoom into the character's EYES and not to some point over their head.

    In short: More character customization and less focus on instances. I didn't get this game for running stupid, long raids. There are tons of MMOs where I could do that if I wanted. Go figure.

    Hey, I'm entitled to my opinion like everyone else. My guess is you're a PVPer, you'd be happy with rules that drive the population to nothing and then complain there isn't anyone to gank.
    1. Who cares what you think. You didn't need to say it was worthless, I said it myself. Lot's of things are worthless, in fact playing an MMO 16 hours a day is also worthless.
    2. People in the real world don't change sides? As for not being possible, have you played WOW? How about EQ2?
    3. Holy Cow, sorry didn't know you were a Dev. Being able to hunt together makes just as much sense as being forced to play in the same zones and not having to fight it out. Welcome to a PvE / PvP game, if you don't like it find a successful pure PVP game. Oh wait, is there one?

    10. Did you play WOW? It was without a doubt the best MMO at launch I had ever played. There were a number of servers with issues, I didn't and don't like the game but mechanicly it was great compaired to just about every other game that rolled out. Refer to Shadowbane, RF Online, Age of Conan, SWG and many more MMOs of the last few years.

    I didn't offer my list as the ultimate list of things to change. I didn't for instance say Server Merge 10 times. I offered a list of things I thought would make the game better, from my nonLeet perspective. I could care less about PVP, I could care less about RvR, I like dungeons, I like Quests and I like meeting new people that I don't have to try to kill, Tbag or brag about killing.

    1. A in-game casino for gambling
    2. A Arena where you can face off 1v1 2v2 against randomly generated AI's.
    (Different from WOW's arena's but should appeal to both pvpers and raiders.
    3. Randomly generated dungeons. (Maybe sort of like Diablo and Diablo 2's dungeons. (Yes I understand that this can be a bit complex to implement but would add a whole new aspect to the game!)
    4. As mentioned before. Unique items that can add minigames. Chess, checkers, poker etc.
    5. More interactive questlines. (I saw a few of them already implemented. But you can expand. For example; Quest decisions that could/would change the loot rewards, faction gains/losses,
    6. A button that you can keybind to descend into the epic depths of the ocean! ( :P )
    7. Battlegrounds with destructible buildings/walls etc. (Or add the ability to destroy buildings etc. in the non-instanced world)
    8. The ability for invasions to attack the main cities directly. (Have there be some safe zones in the cities for vendors etc. , but still ahve the city be under siege.)
    9. have world events directly impact players. (Ex: If you do not stop this force, this town will be destroyed or forever changed in some way.)
    10. Mount Racing: Set up tracks and obstacle courses where players have to race each other to the finish
    11. Guardian and Defiant invasions where players msut help invade!
    12. Create a new sport that is specific to RIFT. An example would be Blitzball from Final Fantasy 10.
    13. Another continent (Yes I know, this is asking for ALOT... But it had to be added)
    14. Add a cardgame that is spcific to rift
    15. The ability to get a hireling. (Just like in Guild Wars. However this should be limited to specific circumstances as I see that this could become a bit unbalanced in PVP and for leveling.)
    16. Guild Halls/Banks/Guild PVP
    17. A Vanity Item that could act as a instrument. Ocrain (like from zelda) Or a Piano or drum that you could set up and play by
    18. A world event where players msut race to produce and hand in a specific number of items made only through crafting. (But the rewards of this have to be really high for this sort of quest.)

    I am against open world dungeons and yes i have played games with them for years (eq2 and daoc).
    Camping a named mod for hours on end was no fun, Nether was having some random player tag that mob you been camping for hours right before you do.
    I hated the place holder system in eq2.. killing the same place holder for hours or some times days in the hope the respawn would be the named mob.
