Sorry, you're going to have to settle for ASCII-based roguelikes and penguin-themed puzzle games.

I used to be like you. I'd ask for stuff like this.

Your just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Edit: Just not enough people use Linux. But hey, its blowing up the cell phone market!

    Linux are not games boxes.
Get 2 computers and rig them up for their purpose.
If you want a games box, run windowze, if you want a development platform, server, office space, run the appropriate flavour of linux. Want an over glorified doorshop? Buy an apple.

I think you mean the program called "Playonlinux", and Rift was working on Linux up to open beta, but I haven't tried on live.

Like few posters above had said, you could also just dual boot, or run Linux in a VM, and have Windows as the host OS to play the game.

I don't know if Cedega is still around but they might have something too... if you want to pay them.

I use crossover games and it works just fine. I got the steam version so I installed it just like I would any steam game. Graphics have to be turned down a bit compared to Windows but it's good enough if you don't have a dual boot setup.

Yeah that's what I read mainly. Have to always use the low quality renderer. Either way, you're not using the computer's full potential either way since it requires so much "translation work" between the Windows and Linux functions.
