Crystal Sourcestone, is it too rare?

As far as I can tell, the only way to get Crystal Sourcestone is to do the daily quest that has you complete an Expert Rift, and that only gets you a mere 2 of them. That would mean it would take you a full month real-time to get a full set of Lesser Essences from the Rift faction vendors that are only slightly better than the ones from the Rare Planar Goods merchants in Iron Pine Peak, Shimmersand, and Stillmoor. Am I missing an obvious source of the stuff, or are these prices just out of whack in relation to what you get?

They can drop from the expert rift itself, and possibly from raid rifts. It would make sense.

I'm not crying that I want free purples or something, these are for blue essences that are barely upgrades from what you can get with Ancient Sourceshards. It just doesn't seem like it's worth the effort.

I've collected a few of the expert rift dailies in the past, when I noticed the quest giver in Sanctum. What triggers the quest giver? She doesn't always offer the dailies, and I've been camping her for a couple hours now to get the quest.
