My thoughts about the Defiant puzzle because someone down thread mentioned an issue with it and I thought I'd investigate:

The puzzle answer seems to be: Bonedust Gnar - King's Retreat - Skeletons, Scouts.



There's a comma between skeletons and scouts which makes me think it's meant to be two separate mobs. Indeed, both the Endless Court mobs (Reavers, Sorceresses) and the Degenerated Defiants drop bone dust- albeit at a very low chance, it seems- so I think skeletons refers to the Degenerated Defiants and scouts refers to the Endless Court mobs. Some of the source mobs on Guardian side have been differently named as well- the vespids are referred to as "butterflies" and the seacaps as "snappers" by the puzzles, for instance. So I think mobwise, it checks out if a little confusing.


As far as the Bonedust Gnar bit, I think that was just a bit of error that somehow happened in consulting the database for grey items? There's a bug type mob in Gnawbone Valley, Shimmersand called a Bonedust Gnar (and apparently a quest to kill it?). There may have just been a mix-up between the 'bone dust' item which is dropped by the appropriate mobs in the appropriate area and the 'Bonedust Gnar' mob in Shimmersand.


TL;DR: If you're a defiant, you want Bone Dust from the Endless Court Reavers/Sorceresses or the Degenerated Defiants in King's Retreat.

This time, I have a complaint. There are no such mobs as skeletons nor scouts in given region of King's Retreat. Also, there is no such drop there as Bonedust Gnar which is very misleading. I found Bone Dust only and I think this should be accepted as correct loot because this is not my fault that hints were wrong.
