Default "It looks like you're logging in from a new location" error message

When I tried to log in, I got the message "It looks like you're logging in from a new location."

But I have not logged from a new location, I logged in from the same location as I normally do. I even logged in from this location earlier in the day.

Now I am waiting for an authentication email that may take hours to arrive so probably won't get to play tonight.

I think something is wrong with your Authentication Process.

    What's your ISP?

What was your IP earlier, and what is it now, and how do you know?

Don't answer that here. But if your IP changed, as they do, that's probably why this happened.

I have 2 Rift accounts that I access from the same computer and one got the error message and the other one did not.

If my IP changed, wouldn't I get the same error message for both accounts?

    Hello,

if this issue still didn't resolve I suggest you send a ticket to the customer support through support@trionworlds.com.

They can help you better than we can here.

Nothing has to be changed... it's just that sometimes accounts get taken out of the 'known list' for renewed authentication. I had it for several accounts as wel earlier this week (but not for all)....
