    Default [BUG Report] Ranged attacks doing lesser damage if melee weapon not triggered.

    Time: Since 4.0 ?

    Context: Ranged attacks doing lesser damage if melee weapon not triggered.

    Expected: Ranged attacks should be doing same damage with all weapons since damage is calculated from main hand damage.

    Observed: I was testing changes on PTS and noticed my ranged attacks doing 5 to 6% less damage if I do not trigger melee weapons.

    Detailed report: We were discussing changes on PTS at Ghar Station discord then Tyael told us mitigation on dummies compared to tooltip damages is 15% while it wasn't case for "Flashbang", it was doing 20% less damage compared to tooltip then I decided to test by going melee if damage is changing and surprisingly damage increased by 5% with just triggering melee weapon.

    As we know with 4.0 ranged weapons just became stat sticks meaning all damages are coming from weapon dps of main hand weapon. While warrior ranged attacks like "Shock Pulse" didn't suffer this on testings, all rogue ranged attacks coming from Ranger,Marksman,Saboteur was effected from it.

    Here is few damage information from PTS

    This damages and tests done by 0/0/0 spec.

    Skill: Flashbang
    tooltip: 114 to 116
    dmg done with ranged: 91 to 93
    dmg done with melee weapon: 96 to 98
    This also was effecting damage done by procs like poisons etc, when triggerring melee weapons poison damage increased.

    Interestingly when I was modifying StatWeights addon for showing ingame item level with Clowd's data and formulas, I used below calculations.

    As you can see I was multiplying weapon dps for ranged weapon by 1.06 to correct it's item level compared to 2H weapons or 1H weapons.

    Let's check item details of test gear on pts

    Lets calculate their weapon dps values:
    Formula we gonna use: (Min Damage + Max Damage) / ( 2 * Weapon Speed), We will also multiply 1 handers with 1.3 for dualwield bonus.
    Ranged: (171+319)/(2*2.5999999046326)=94.23077268713223 wdps
    Main hand: ((112+209)/(2*2.0999999046326))*(1.3) = 99.35714736925372 wdps
    Now lets compare difference by dividing both weapon dps
    99.35714736925372 / 94.23077268713223 = 1.054402341569906
    Not to mention this is the case when using same item level ranged and one hander.

    Tested this also on both live and prime same case was happening there.

    After checking in fight situation on prime, if somehow ranged weapon effect triggers and start using skills with it after even melee weapon triggered damage reduces again.
    RemoveBuff a simple addon for replacing cancelbuff command.
