Joining chat channels

I dont know if its a bug or not, but i cant join chat channels unless i click on them when someone post a message in them. I have tried /party, raid, zone. Even say and guild wont come up for me to type in unless the channel is posted in my window for me to click on. Is there a setting or something im missing, or am i bugged?

Nope.

There is a number in front of every chatroom (you can see them all when writing /chatinfo in the chat)

When you want to write in one of those channels write /<number> of the chatroom

and those others like of the raid should word but there is also the possibility to click on the voice bubble thingy in front and choose the one you want to write in
