Patcher not working after 4.4. update

Hi,

I started Rift but it did not download any update. When pressing play I receive the following message: New update on the way and please run patcher (see attachment).



Any ideas what I could do? Running the patcher file in the game directory did not help.

same problem, the patcher requires an update.
Rift - EU cannot be started.
