Default The PvP Reapion (40 Champ / 26 Reaver)

I just want to go ahead and mention first that I'm a bigger fan of RB than Champ in PvP; however, I have been having fun with this spec versus 51 Champ and figured it that it bears mentioning on the forums. Use at your own risk. I will not say it is better than any other PvP build out there, just an option.

Weaknesses: Lack of Cornered Beast. Closure (you had best be smart on when you use your Bull Rush)
Bonuses: Brings back the 10 target hit, LW spreading, health return.

    Two configurations, pick your poison:

40 Champ / 26 Reaver (higher damage standpoint)

35 Champ / 31 Reaver (higher health return standpoint)

    Disease spreading / LW

This isn't too awful, but a RB build would be far more useful, not just from a mobility standpoint but also for dmg. Champ is all about physical dmg (Deadly Strikes) whereas RB has elemental dmg increases (enhanced burst). It might seem like small potatoes but having the extra 30% dmg apply to your reaver DoTs, makes a nice difference. Then of course you get Rift walk and planar blade

You also missed tempered will and enraged essence >.>

There aren't any elemental damage increases as you suggest. Champ and RB provide the same melee/ranged damage bonuses.

You're thinking of Weapon Specialization and Rift Fury, he is referring to the elemental damage ACTIVE buff from enhanced burst and the passive damage to physical damage done with 2h's from deadly strikes. Deadly strike and Elemental touch technicaly give varied scaling depending on points spent for physical or elemental damage.

WTB old Reaver Planar Attunement increased elemental damage

Understanding your class and soul trees is the first step on the road to L2P.

Would Reaver/para be a better mix?

I'm pretty you're trying to prove something, but not sure where you're getting the info.

I'll spell it out clearly. RB Enhanced burst increases the damage of Reaver DoTs.

Deadly strikes from Champion only affects physical attacks.

Rift Fury and Weapon Specialization are only half as effective on SOul Sickness and Necrotic wounds due to them being ranged. (This also includes infestation)

Believe me when I say, I built and played this spec, and discarded it as fluff, LW spreading...

If you want to try an ACTUAL Reaver hybrid, can check out my 1.7 PvP spec.

Now, there are a couple changes you could do, but this is what I like. Take 2 pts out of pally and 1 out of reaver to get brostorm and windspear... if you're into that sort of thing.

    Thought =/= think.
So, yes, I've tested it. It's not fixed and it affects not only "elemental" damage.

Should listen to Bloodborne, he knows a lot and has created some VERY good builds.
