You can, it does do dps and dosnt seem to die to much in ID.

In my opinion yes. And you get stoneshield which enables you to hit the adds without the debuff.

The Laethys P1 adds have a damage reflect buff. After you kill the shaman you get a 20 sec buff enabling you to attack them without instagibbing yourself. At the end of the 20 secs you can activate stoneshield and become immune for an additional 6 secs (~3 gcds)

Btw you should be careful with the pet, it's aggrorange is insane. I have pulled bosses with it quite often.

Destroyer's Bearing is a huge part of why 51 Champion builds are so effective, while leveling I'd suggest more Riftblade based builds as any amount of points in RB will do great. But since you're 47 you could be 50 by the time I'm done replying lol

When was the most recent time you tested this? I thought stoneshield was recently changed...

Also anyone know what command i put in my macro to make the L37 pet attack? It should be good for a tiny bit of dps even if it mostly misses. Haven't played a bm pet spec in a long time.

Last tuesday.

And for macros just use the petcommands that are listed in the BM part of my guide.

lets say for example 2 warriors on a no disconnect fight, both using 13/2 same gear (fully hk + inductor and some ID+kraken). one uses CB and the other just uses the regular rotation not including CB. how big of a dps difference will it be, and would it also depend on their AP

I haven only tested it in target dummy situations w/o raidbuffs. If you want results with buffs, you will probably have to do them yourselves. All i can say is, that it is most certainly a dps increase any situation. (around 50-80, slightly higher in a raid obviously).

My guild is starting ID (2/8 at the moment). As i like to plan my gear, i found that we won't be able to get a good 2H weapon before the Ember conclave. And as we are about 6 war dps, it seems that I won't get it before quite a long time... If I red well the Rain's BIS list, we cant get more easily some 1H in ID, and also try to get a crafted one. I like the parangon (44/22 version) and i had quite good results in raid with it in single target, the rotation is OK.

Now, supposing I get 2 ID 1H weapon, is there a build which is able to deal a decent AOE damage with DW ?

Would a 38 para/28 champion/0 rb be a correct build fort trash or AOE fights assuming that no ID 2H weapon is available (using champion cristal) ?

Mono rotation => Idem than 44/22 without paired strike
Multi => SLI => Mighty blow => Path of the huricanne => Shifting blade => Might Blow => Rising waterfall => Blade fury


I'm aware that champion is much better than parangon to AOE, but if we don't have a good 2H weapon... Have you some idea on suggestion ?

Even if you are one or two weapon tiers below, DW will never be able to compete with 2 handed builds at all. If you want AE - go 51 Champ and 2h. And btw Shifting Blades suck for AoE, as only one of all the hits can trigger it, due to its internal cooldown.

51 RB/15 Paragon is the best AoE DPS for 1 handers AFAIK. Also the best ranged DPS. Both due to bursts. But you likely still will get better performance from a 51 champ build with a lesser 2 hander.

In fact i didn't want to compete with champion, just not roll on everything and be able to AOE a little. It's sure that Champion will remain the best for it.

I tried a 38/28... Enough for trash and dungeon but that's all and I loose a lot of single target dps compare to 44/22... Thanks for the good guide, it helps a lot
