Here's a min/max tip that will greatly benefit every Inq player: DO NOT macro Fanaticism with anything other than Aggressive Inquisition. You want to use it before using Radical Coalescence to get max Zealotry stacks so that Nysyr's Rebuke has a 100% Crit Chance. Using Fanaticism + AI before your burst will make sure you have ~ 4 or 5 Zealotry stacks (depending on if you use BoD right after RC or you cast AI straight away.) This is a difference of 60-70% Crit Rate versus 100%, and since Nysyr's is so strong now, maxing its damage is easily a 100k+ DPS gain on the dummy, which becomes much higher in raid.

A lot of old guides (and even this one, I think) have it macro'd with BoD or something else, but you NEED it perfectly off cool down for when you burst. The only other time you'll use it is when AI comes off CD 30 seconds after bursting, so they will both be off CD for when you burst again.

Macro Fanaticism with AI, use that before bursting (in the opener and in subsequent bursts), as well as 30 seconds after bursting (2 DoT recasts, roughly.)

    Default Easier version

I was wondering if someone knows an easier version of inquisitor that is 5 buttons or less and can put out a decent amount of damage

Currently, on my Cleric, I am able to do about 1.5mil DPS on my Shaman Spec in IROTP and 1.3mil DPS on Azranel in BOS, with only 1 piece of BOS gear, and a mix of IROTP/EOA gear. However, at Isiel I am forced to use an outdated Cabalist spec which does great AOE damage but bad ST damage.

I have tried both this and the 4.5 by Shas but it is too distracting for me to play while also trying to keep up with game mechanics.

I am just looking for an easy Cleric range spec that does good ST/AOE Damage and only require 5( or fewer) buttons

    Thanks!

    Default Inqui

Inquisitor is best st range dps for cleric, 4.5 Shas guide is best after inqui got boost. When you give it few tries and make kalerts it's easy to play. It doesn't have good aoe but point of playing inqui is to do high st dmg.

Burst + EoL (EoL also can use on shield/spin) every 1min, even if it's problem can skip fana+ai every 30sec and save it for 1min burst, rest are dots to keep active (never refresh sanction heretic on shields), fervent every 1min, then just BoR x2 > instant BoD (or as much BoR as you have echoing concord stacks) and thats enough for easy nice dps. It's not hard. Go on dummy, with kalerts and train, then go to irotp etc and fit it with mechanics.

Most of clerics are using inqui on all 3 bosses in BoS, even on azranel and titan it's great.
Shaman is only good if raid lack on aoe on isiel but low st on isiel phase.
Druidalist is same only good for aoe but then st dps is low.

You can also learn defihealer, which is very useful for raids but it's again few dot's to keep to proc salvation for healing and miserly spam.

My bars, it only look hard, so many to click but it's easy: 1-4 burst > BoR spam for instant BoD > 7-0 dots on bar refresh > fervent every 1min > punishing before burst and thats all

Thanks, Hungrymadamme. I appreciate the feedback. To be clear I already tried both builds multiple times, I just lack what it takes to master them, I am probably undiagnosed ADHD or something.

I tried creating my own builds using other offensive souls, but can't get any good DPS from the specs. It makes sense though because if it was possible someone would have already done it.

Thanks, I like the cleric class and will try out your suggestion
