[3.0] Link Puri (a.k.a. Purifiler) (38 Purifier/38 Defiler)

This build is for niche areas that may require a Defiler, but you don't want to swap out a DPS slot to get one.

Very simple build with 2 variants depending on what you want exactly.

Having Warden will give you a second Heal over time spell.

The Alternate:

This will trade out a HoT for Healing Breath, giving you more burst spot healing

In Addition:

You can take 1 point out of Flare-up and move it to Sign of Anticipation and use that instead of Sign of Daring.

• Consistent Healing

Downsides:

• No big Purifier Cooldowns
• No 20% Defiler Link
• No Unstable Transformation

The Masteries:

61 - Righteous Protection (+5% chance for Clear the Coals)

62 - Divine Inspiration (Increased healing and absorption)

63 - Meditation or Faith's Freedom (Mana Regen+Rebounding Cleanse or 100% hp battle Res)

64 - Faith's Reward (Reduces the cast times for Latent Blaze and Foul Growth)

65 - Divine Favor (best used on the Tank and any other heals or people taking a lot of damage to help out the raid healer(s))

The Buffs:

• Grief Blight (+20% healing/absorb)
• Caregiver's Blessing (Extra shields on targets you heal)
• Wisdom of the Ages (+85 wis for the raid)
• Sign of Daring (Increases armor and resists of healing targets)
• 5%, 10%, and 15% Defiler Links

• Blighted Greed (cannot be used while links are active)
• Rage Blight (No use in this build, use Grief Blight instead)

The Macros:

Auto Crit Symbol of the Sun:

This will give you a full crit on symbol of the sun when Flashover is available, otherwise it will just cast Symbol of the Sun regular.

This build is pretty straight forward, The only other macros that I use are @mouseoverui heals to make spot healing easier.

The Basic Idea:

• This build does have 2 battle resurrections, however they share a cooldown.
• Keep both Hideous Reconstruction and Healing Spray active at all times on the tank
• use Loathsome Restoration as your spot heal
• Keep Symbol of the Sun active as much as possible
• Use Ward of Flame as a filler
• Clear the Coals can proc with any healing or absorption spell
• Keep Latent Blaze active on the tank at all times, if it goes down use stacks of Faiths Reward to get it back on fast
• Use stacks of Faith's Reward to apply Foul Growth instantly to help with burst/spot healing
• You do not need to ever worry about link damage, Husk of Indifference will always be active automatically
• You can use Siphon Vitality to spead Foul Growth around to your links
• For single target cleansing you have Sterilize and Jealous Intervention (as well as Cauterize, but it costs more mana than Jealous Intervention)
• For AoE Cleanse you have Cauterizing Wave

Healing Flare over LR since you've got 5/5 Preservation and 2/2 Feed the Flames in that build.

Interesting concept. I'm a fan of random gimmicky builds for something new in experts. Might **** around with this just cos.

Good point, I didn't think about that... So use Healing Flare for normal spot healing and Loathsome Restoration when you have stacks of Foul Growth

Did you consider a 54/22 split at all? sign of faith + 10% link and the auto applied husk + most of the damage reduction from links, gives you more damage reduction on your target than 38/38 with alot more purifier healing power,

I was going for the most amount of links while keeping puri effective. I'll give 54/22 a try and see how it fairs

Out of curiosity, does Eruption proc Foul Growth on linked targets?

nm - found a thread that suggests it would not. Therefore, it would be rare to proc foul growth on a target unless they are just not taking any damage and you have time to drop some DPS spells into the mix.
