    Default Inquisitor Build (The Lawbringer) Final

    The Lawbringer Video/Guide
    Calc Build

    Example of me using this build in the past
    Solo Laethys

    Updated 10/28/2013

    Originally I wasn't going to ever post this build. But I was convinced to do so by a event of bullying I witnessed on a minor. The kid asked me nicely and people flamed him in my favor. I felt bad stuff like that kids don't need. So I contacted him personally on Google and linked him the build video privately yesterday. Well people who are sneaky noticed the video sitting private on my channel lol...So here is said video and guide a long with it.
    ================================================== =====================
    The Build

    Souls involved in this build are something you maybe already comfortable.
    Inquisitor 61 inq, Purifier 8 , and 7 Justicar

    Which is the same set up as Holy Fire save swapping Shaman for Inquisitor. So you can use the same tactics with purifier and Justicar components. However things change with combining components of Inquisitor.
    ================================================== =====================
    61 Inq

    Really no reason once again to address the dps because frankly. Both of the side souls do nothing to the dps rotation. So you can check out the Holy Paladin 2.0 post. I discussed dps options there. The effect I was going for here just like Holy Fire was keeping all my fire power but adding survival. And allowing ourselves more fun and control over situations. Not needing to rely on anyone else but yourself. No pocket healer no pet all you all the time.

    Pretty much because it has excellent scaling synergy you get 10% Spell Power in the Inq Tree, 10% Wisdom in Purifier and Jusitcar. Which gives you nice scaling as you get stronger. Doesn't mean go running off raiding with this. But you can if you were already OP to begin with. And you won't miss a beat. And have a way to survive encounters that would of otherwise killed you. You see me do that a lot in the example videos. Same goes for pvp let me explain that a little. You can make a you shall not pass macro with this build. That will do the following if you see fit

    4 Damage Reflects, 3 Healing Effects, 2 Damage Shields. Use this cast Overload ,cast Judicial Privilege ,cast Symbol of the Torch and cast Healing Flare. You can add Consuming Flame if you like or leave it out. Also make a PVE version because overload does nothing to non pvp targets.

    You have the ability to have two constant reflects of damage on enemies. With shroud of agony and Sign of wrath that procs off of healing flare. You can also throw on your pvp talent overload in pvp for a nasty 3 way damage on a enemy. That scares most unsuspecting targets into retreating. Those who don't run the risk of plainly killing themselves. You can throw on Judicial Priviledge and planar fire shield. You can do all of this in 2-3 seconds. This makes for a nice number light show you see I put on in the video. Makes you very tanky while being very bursty. Something very hard to accomplish in this game without nerfing something greatly. In this case dps isn't nerfed greatly it's 500 dps less then some max dps builds. As I said this build scales extremely well. Strong Clerics enter that deadly realm. Something we don't get to do a lot.
    ================================================== ==================================================
    Purifier 8&Justicar 7

    Nothing changes in tactics here from the holy fire guide
    Ofcourse some advantage exist because you're now ranged and not melee. So things like keeping up Sign of Wrath is less painful. You can do that on the run planning a attack a lot easier. Bolt of Radiance can now be used as a chase combo easier as well.
    ================================================== =================================================
    Buffs too damn many.......

    Sign of Wrath= When pulling Multiple mobs self cast your heal watch those numbers fly. Combine it with Shroud of Agony for a double damage reflect.

    Caregivers Blessing= Causes single target healing and absorption spells to apply Caregiver's Blessing for 10s. Absorbs 246 damage. Lasts 1h.

    Wisdom of the Ages= 70 wisdom scales well with the 3 trees buffs (Super Well Actually)

    Spiritual Protection= Increases all Resistances by 65 on all party or raid members.

    Armor of Awakening= Increases damage done by 10% and Critical Hit chance with damaging abilities by 10%. Lasts 1h.

    Spiritual Scrutiny= Reduces the global cooldown of the Cleric's ranged damaging abilities by 0.5s, and their mana costs by 33%. Allows the Cleric's damaging abilities to ignore 20% of their targets' Armor and Resistance. Reduces the cast time of Bolt of Judgment by 1.5s and its damage by 20%. Lasts 1h.

    Shroud of Agony= Grants a 20% chance when hit to deal 462 Death damage to up to 10 nearby enemies over 6s. Lasts 1h.

    Flaring Sigil= 160 Spell Power you need tier 3 of planar fire attunement.
    ================================================== =====================================
    Macros=

    My Chasing Spam Macro
    #show Bolt of Judgement
    cast Sanction Heretic
    cast Bolt of Judgment

    Chasing BOR Version
    #show Bolt of Retribution
    cast Sanction Heretic
    cast Bolt of Retribution
    cast Bolt of Judgment

    Boom Macro
    #show Fanaticism
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Fanaticism
    cast Bolt of Depravity

    You Are Not Prepared
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast Overload
    cast Judicial Privilege
    cast Symbol of the Torch
    cast Healing Flare

    The last macro is ridiculous try it. You will ruin a rogues day.
    ================================================== ========================
    Rotation

    1. Vex
    2. Scourge
    3. Bolt of Depravity= If it's at 5 stacks let it fly
    4. Sanction Heretic= Most cases BOD is not ready so this is next
    5. Bolt of Retribution= If you have the Concord buff from BOD landing if not skip to 6
    6. Nysr Rebuke= Can be various places. Test Your playstyle for which works better for you
    7. Bolt of Judgement

    A few things don't use any of the secondary souls dps spells. With the one exception of Bolt of Radiance. I use that in situations I must be mobile and want to heal/damage. Times like that exist in this game. Usually it's when you and a mob or enemy player are both low health. So damaging and getting a little burst heal is OP for that situation. May even be helpful sometimes in fights. When you want to dps race. Don't want to stop to use a traditional heal. Other then those cases. Stick to the traditional Inq Rotation.
    ================================================== ========================
    Conclusion

    As most know I have been using this build a long time. It's tested and tested then tested again. It works it's fun it is what it is. In my opinion it's the most fun build I've come up with. And yes it was before Holy Fire but I didn't believe in it back then. So I scrapped it until a few patch changes. Literally changed my mind. Now it's what I use all the time.So enjoy that's the point see you next build 3.0 style.

    Thanks for sharing this, It looks really promising and the type of inquisitor build i was looking for (more survivability without losing its ranged ST dps strengths). Gonna give it a try, but I thought about changing the justicar soul for the defiler one as It seems to offer better returns for those 7 points:
    - You can also invest in the 10% wisdom, that synergy in the build is not affected
    -You get Rage Blight and Blighted Greed for added dps
    -Syphon Vitality for another instant AoE with some nice extra healing
    -1 point Obsessive for 1% increase in healing, absorption and damage

    You lose in the exchange lots of endurance, which I wont be missing anytime soon since its a ranged dps spec, and the heals from salvation which are negligible
    The trade-off with regard to damage seems to work for defiler too (3,5% against 1% Obsessive plus 5% rage blight chance)
    So the only significant loss is in armor and resists

    Any thoughts?

    That can work fine as well. Less defense and more offensive ability. If you're looking for a balance that suits you better. By all means take it and do what you see fit. Be careful though salvation does a lot more then you think.

    Thanks for the build.

    Initially, I swapped Justicar for Defiler thinking I would get more damage and went to test it out on 9 wisps in Dendrome for farming leathers. HP went down to 40 to 50% at times even when I precasted the Puri shield and Scourge a few wisps before Soul Purge + CoO.

    In the end, I went back to 7/8 points in Justicar so I can stay 1/2 awake when farming leather. BTW, gear is 2 items short of 520 hit.

    LOL.

    Every build I have on every toon has a macro like this that I name with a variant of "!!911!!"

    That being said, if it's as good and fun as Holy Fire, I'll be sure to give it a look-see sooner or later

    Thanks for the little blurb at the beginning, too. Very nice behavior on your part
    Faeblight (US PVE-RP)
    Lifemender - Cleric (65) & Oxenheart - Warrior (65) ... & friends
    Look for any toons in the Cosmic Rhinocerii "guild". They're all me!
    Don't hesitate to say "hi!" if you see me. Always looking for new Rifters to help. If you need, just ask!

    Thanks for posting this build. It looks like what I have been seeking. I'm not used to playing Inq. much as I just hit 60. Would you mind posting some rotation priorities for the newb?

    Thanks for a great build!

    @Phelim on the Moor

    To make up for me not being more responsible and protecting him from bullying. I reached out like that. Doesn't matter if he isn't my son. He's someones child so he deserved better. You just hope he remembers the good out of it. And not the bad way it started.

    @Tulkas66

    I'll add it to the original post

    I already have a nice build 3.0 style but I'm no spoiler bound. So next year should be interesting.

    You pretty much guessed it. I rarely if at all use it for viable dps situations.

    Awesome, alrighto, btw, just another question, what offhand would you prefer? a shield or a totem/book? I'm guessing pvp you'd wear a shield?
